Hurricaine Charley

Hello everyone.  It's about 2:30 pm and forcasters have said that the Hurricaine should reach the Tampa Bay area around 8pm.  I live on the second floor of a concrete building just above the evacuation area and my main worry is that the windows will blow out.  That would really suck.  Everything is closed now and many businesses are boarded up.  The roads are pretty empty of traffic as well.  I took a ride a while ago and it reminded me of Christmas Day.  There is a quiet calm as everyone braces themselves for what will come next.

As for me, I am as nervous as a whore in church and will try to give a blow by blow account of the storm later on if the power holds up.  See you all later.

Inside a warehouse behind Tyrone Mall
we walked in darkness, kept hitting the wall.
I took the time to feel for the door,
I had been \"treated\" but what the hell for?

Hope you will be safe. Why are you not evacuating?

am looking for people who survived Straight in Plymouth, Michigan. I miss a lot of people there and wonder what happened and would like to stay in touch.

Don't be skeerd.  ::rainbow::

A drug is neither moral nor immoral - it's a chemical compound. The compound itself is not a menace to society until a human being treats it as if consumption bestowed a temporary license to act like an asshole.

nothing happening here in Pinellas.  We're in a 'white area', meaning that the area we live might see a bit of rain.  What an excuse to shut everything down.  I can't get a burger right now at checkers', I can't go to a movie, I can't go to Taco Bell and try those new wraps they have.  Its all good.

Well the worst is over for us at least.  The eye reached land at Englewood and the thing just kept on gett'n up.  It is kicking the crap out of the Greenbelt area and all the hick towns and swampy regions east of I-75 and will head up through the center of the state north of Lake Okeechobee.  We were lucky, plain and simple.  I'm gonna go out and see how the neighbors are doing.

Obviously, a lot of people who went through the storm are without power and phones right now.  If anyone personally knows people down there, and if you hear anything, let us know how they're doing, Okay?

I've been thinking/worrying about you. I hope everything's cool 'n' the gang down in the good ol' FL.
