15 months - came in Dec 26, 1978, left in March 1980 sometime.  Dont remember the date I left...just thank god I left.

No, I don't remember mine. It was confusing anyway cause I got started over a bunch of times, at least once or twice from first phase. But I do remember this one little odity. I remember the way we wrote them every day on the corner of our MIs.

it was to remind us how many days we were wasting away while in straight.  That is one thing I do remember about MI's.  I still have mine. . . evidence when we go to court to get that mutherfucker sembler, et al.

I have no idea how many days I was in.  i just know it was somewhere between 18 and 22 months.  I remember the day I went in very clearly, but I have no idea when I left.  About the way we wrote the days on the IM.   I seem to remember writing the days like that, I just don't remember what the numbers meant.  Can you refresh my memory?  Thanks.::troll::

Its left to right top to bottom number of says per phase
the one below denotes 1st phase 60 days, 2nd phase was 30 days ( yeah right haha) 3rd, 90 days etc etc

Since I didn't write many MIs, about the only thing I recall about that crap is being started over after 180 days on 1st phase. They decided to send me to my own home as a newcomer as motivation to change. It was like R&R; allowing me to eat well, disseminate manipulation and subliminally describe MY "program". Staff got my ass outta there fast. Funny how while I was there I was pardoned from the MBer policy. Jason

it was 1st, 2nd, 3rd across the top, 4th, 5th on the bottom, with a space for "aftercare" days on the bottom right...

We wrote our days the way Ginger described and had to add a "L" kind of shape at the end of our fourth phase days for fifth phase time. Also I had a symbol I had to add for my "no phase" time. I can't quite remember that one though.I somehow kept one book of MI's I'll have to go back and look.

A little off subject but has anyone ever read some of their old MI's? I don't know how each program did it but mine were totally useless. "I admit I am powerless over forgetting my lunch" What kind of therapy was that?

I remember the day, I took all the mi's I had written (& saved for some reason) along with... get this... a "crap cleaning award" which consisted of a roll of tp with "Crap Cleaning
Award" written on it.  :roll: and threw them all away.  It was so damned liberating!  I even wondered at the time why the hell I was saving them.  But anyway.....

I remember writing some numbers, but I have no memory of what they were for, I'm getting the gist of it now with your explanations, thanks.  

What is it that makes so many people remember so much ("Father Abraham" is remembering too much for me, lol), and others remember so little.  I know writing the days on my MI's wasn't traumatic, so why would I forget that?? especially after writing them every day for 28 months (including 6months aftercare)??  My memory is a mystery to me.  

I always wished I had secretly kept a journal of everyday, so I could have clear memories, but I was too paranoid for that.  I wonder if anyone who was in the program wrote a journal.  I guess there would be no way in hell to keep a secret journal, especially on first phase.  oh well.  :roll:

Was a "tool" utilized by staff to create an even more unpleasant environment for 1st phase MBers who refused to comply with the program's indoctrination. It was a more intensive protocol that included stringent rationing of food(ie. choice of snack or shampoo), military showers(ie. 60 secs.), extended sleep depravation, forced to wear filthy clothing, no comb/toothbrush, etc. This "policy" was often left to the devise of the oldcomer; they could treat you any way deemed appropriate. Yes, I got to experience that lovely bit of treatment for a couple of weeks once for being rebellious. I do think they gave us "4 strokes of the comb" if I'm not mistaken, though.

God, what a bunch of crap. I used to sit in there every single day wondering "how on earth can they get away with this?" I would think about all those cars driving by on that big main road, right in front of the building, never knowing what the hell was going on in that place. I figured if it were public knowledge, they'd be shut down in a heartbeat.
 
More akin to the topic of this post, "Days," I had absolutely forgotten about that dumb little graph in the corner. Easy enough to forget, as it was such a pointless thing. Just a source of depression, I guess, to remind you of just how many days you'd been rotting and not being put to any good human use.

oh now i remember that...i walked outta that hell so i don't have my mi's...or half the clothes i had....i do remember going thorough my mom and dad's mi's though....they were just as filler as mine...omg, remember that? filler mi's...the only good part about them were the affirmations at the end...whatever
