Ruling the World
« on: July 28, 2004, 11:52:00 AM »
When you're trying to rule the world like Melvin Sembler and his croonies are; one fuck up at a time, there are certain rules that have to be given heed.

One of those tiny, little rules, which I am more familiar with lately as I grow more stable and mature; is Ethics.

You know what Ethics are, even if you've never gone to college or set your mind to learning about them.

Honesty is NOT about subjugating anyone.  Honesty is about sort of doing what is best and keeping to yourself and being real about your own personal life and experiences without aggressively seeking to harm or infringe upon others.  Honesty is about Commanding the term Respect.  It is not about Demanding it.

Loyalty to others is another one.  Sembler is not, as he has proven, loyal to anyone outside of his family and friends.  I wonder if I ever got in good with Sembler - how much I could really take him for.  I've always heard that the rich and greedy are very soft and single minded.

Being forthcoming in Ethics just simply deals with telling what you are really intending to do.  Sembler masks ALL of his ventures with the name of progress.  It is all about the one sidedness of cost/benefit analysis, you know.  Some say Sembler is a philanthropist (hereafter referred to as "p.").  If he is a p. then I take it to mean that p. means to hurt others in the name of making money, read a few books that your commercial, communist friends wrote - and then call yourself a p.

And then there's the: 'do no harm' ethical conduct code.  When has Melvin done anything to help others?  Has Baywalk really helped anything?  Has It?  Has another Home Depot done anything but really further pollute and clutter our environment, raised the stats on crime rate, economic disruption, and other forms of political statements that segregate everything but take no responsibility for themselves?  I dont have to mention Straight Incorporated here.  Has another treatment center in Canada, forthcoming, really benefited anybody but Sembler and his deep pockets to make deeper pockets?  Has Sembler genuinely helped anyone?

We all know, and I can say this with certainty, that Sembler and all his kind will NEVER EVER make it to the bigtime.  They can fantasize and they can wish and hope.  Sembler will never become a president of any United States because he knows it will only hurt him to have pure and uncut fullon fulltime media attention on Straight Inc.  He will always be small time and he knows it.  He will never hold the hearts of the true people of this world.  Top that off with his old age and the number of years that remain in his wasted life.  So, most of the older generation I know of who have never paid attention in class and forgot what they were taught in Ethics Class; at least they learned how to exploit others and exploit their worlds around them.

Although you may not have seen, or maybe you have seen, Ethics in whatever formal setting - you do know what it is - taken from the pain and suffering that was dealt to you.

You are bigger than Sembler is.  WE, are bigger than he is.  He has a following.  Ours is bigger.

In honest fact, the following of underdogs is always, always huge compared to the followings of the rich and greedy.  We are more in number.  We ARE the people, and we have a louder voice than that of the narrow minded.

My father-in-law used to tell me, "If someone lays one; you lay one right back."
