I was shocked when I read the article about Clay Ah Quin and the new school in St. George. Apparently the authorities in Utah will let just about anyone run one of these programs. What credentials does he have? None. He worked at Wall Mart. There are several Ah Ouin's involved in this industry and it is a money maker. Families are charged $5,000 to $12,000 per month for supposed therapy for their children. He could make about $100,000 per month with this new school. It sounds like he is going to use some of the WWASP techniques mixed with prison. The kids must wake up at 5 am and do exercise - about two hours of forced exercise per day - involuntary servitude - all wearing the same type of uniform or jump suit. It sounds a lot like prison.
As long as the authorities in Utah allow this the abuse will continue.
What would the authorities have done if a child was killed by a staff member? What would they do if the staff member starved that child over the course of a month. What would they do if the staff member denied a dying child of necessary medical care? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Look at what happend with Aaron Bacon, Ian August, Michele Sutton. They all died as a result of staff cruelty, negligence and torture.
Where is the justice for the children. I'd love to see justice for all.
The authorities in Utah allow children to be tortured in these programs and give them absolutely no way out. No right to use the telephone, internet or have private, uncensored mail. How can they report their abuse? They can not.
