Lung Cancer /Emphysema

When someone gets lung cancer or emphysema what are the first signs if you let it go too long ?

 Can most people not tell they have it until the latter stages?

 What do tumors feel like?

persistant nagging cough is the big one for cancer as far as i know. they are deveoping new lung cancer treatments all the time so its worth whiule to getit looked at. aalso ya gotta quit smoking. its hard i know. i chewed a lot of thatnicorette gum for a long time but it really worked but ya gotta keep trying.

The most common symptom of emphysema is that you can not breath deep. The breathing is verry shallow and most times raspy..Think of lungs filled w/fluid, mucus. Lung cancer has many symptoms and I suggest that you go to the american cancer society web sight and do some research.
I also reccomend that you see a doctor. But go to a specialist if you have insurance. If you do not contact the Am Cancer society and they can refer you to a testing sight. Good luck

Well ..I started smoking when I was 12 in 1986 or so..so Im coming up on 20 years of 2 pack a day smoking ( Mostly the harsh Camels ) and my lungs feel fucked but I cannot quit.
 Cancer run rampant in my family ( my 40 year old cousin came down with brain tumors out of nowhere recently)
 
 I am a tough person and can survive almost any situation..I follow my own path and ...well Im strong..

 But I have a weakness..my own cravings..When it comes to addiction I am almost helpless. Weak...pitiful. I dream about heroin every night and think about it all the time...and Im on MMT and been clean for years..

  I dont know why but I just feel like I have lung cancer....like I know it inside or something..intuition. Also my MMT doctor is concerned as I had a physical and he was shocked at the sound of my lungs.
