Use of the Term 'Bitch'
« on: July 02, 2004, 01:42:00 AM »
Over the last couple of decades the use of the word 'bitch' has been used so many times.  Being raised in Texas where children learn to say potty mouthed words like its no big deal; all these curse words like damn, shit, fuck, and bitch, and even motherfucker become diluted so that their meanings are lost when used in sentences or daily vernacular.

'I fucking woke up this fucking morning.  The motherfucking cat pissed on the couch again.  My goddamm eggs were soggy, and the toast was fucking burned.  After I got off work from my shit eating job and dealing with the fuckshitbitchass coworkers all day, I came home and got motherfucking high as a kite with some tasty cold beer and some fuckinA good weed."

You know what I'm saying here.

Before I get to babbling, let me say that for the first time in a while I found a movie, actually a good one directed by Clint Eastwood, where the word bitch is given a very visual meaning.  The movie is called 'Unforgiven'.  I didn't even see the whole thing on TNT, but it stars Morgan Freeman, Gene Hackman, and some other chick who plays a whore (she wound up playing the mother in the Crow).

Basically, at the end when Clint's character Munny has killed all the evil with a cowboy shotgun and pistol, he's riding out of the bad town full of whores and ne'er-do-wells (of course, Munny is a cold blooded killer himself).  Munny has to make his final warnings.  He says:

"You better bury Ned right.  Or I'll come back here and kill all you sons of bitches.'

I just thought it was some really cold shit western style to say to a motherfucker when they try to wax tough after you killed everyone else.  To hear Eastwood say bitch in a paragraph gave new meaning to the word.  By far a good movie (Resevoir Dogs meets the untamed west) and Clint looks alot less haggardly me thinks.

Do you know the difference between a bitch and a whore?

A whore will fuck anyone.

A bitch will fuck anyone but you

Im pretty foul mouthed, but I can turn it off with a little effort...in crtain situations...

Whats the point of this post again? I just woke up ...
EDIT: oh, bitch, love the word, but after TDC stint I dont use it for women..Its taken on a meaning ....of...well its the worst thing you can call a man..Occasionaly I use it referring to a woman i dislike.
But not to describe all women for instance " I got a date with this bitch tonite" I think that was used more at the height of gangsta rap..

Also, hehe, My ex wife had a serious aversion to the word bitch and trained me not to use it, haha..I guess the truth hurt her.
