I thought that some of the quotes used in the propheets were great, and others were just funny, but I can't remember all of them.  One of my favorites was "Today is the first day of the rest of your life"-I Want To Live

The ladder to the stars is woven with dreams

from the dreams workshop
that was actually a cool experience for me, no shit, it was the one workshop or propheet that really wasn't about beating your ass down.

Are you joking, that was all that the dreams was about.  I have never beat myself up more

Here's the one that really pissed me off for years.

Remember this SHiT

Projections Are valid?

It was supposed to mean that if you complained abiut anything about a staff, then you were actually projecting a personal trait (something about yourself) on the staff.

My Ex wife used this to beat the shit out of me emotionally when she came home from CEDU.

Here's an exxaggerated example of a conversation between me and my wife.

Premise:

Laurie:
E%^%^*%^&(*%^(&^&*()&()+_*()+_*()+(&*(&)%*(%*(%*&)IN ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marc"
"Darling, I don't think it is a good idea to scraem and yell when you come home just because you yell do it all day at the kids sweethaart"

Laurie:
"^*&&*^$%^*#%^&#$@#$^#@$^%OFF Projections are valid."

Marc
Projections are supposed to be things in me that you see, but I don't yell at you, sweetheart.

Laurie:
"Piss off 75945896579436903764IN ASSHOLE - projections are valid"

Marc
"Can we discuss this honey?"

laurie
"No Piss off."

Conclusiom

"projections are valid"

Ever have that happen to you?

never happened to me, and that is one thing I have never done to someone on the outside, because I hated it at CEDU. It works on a bullshit premise, and was a way for CEDU to force older students to be subservient in the program. You couldn't just indict someone, you had to drag your shit through the mud first. Now it didn't happen everytime, but it was a lot of fun to be indicting someone for being an asshole and have the indictment turned by the staff. I did notiec that the staff did not have to own up to jack shit, and it pissed me off. I just liked to turn shit on staff and watch them burn for a minute until they realized they still had the power over you. If only they had led by earning respect and trust, it would probably have been fun. Instead of running it with power and fear.

They would say "You are not being accountable."

Most of the staff, especially the less intelligent ones like the fundamentalists and mormons, or just raving fishheaded Christians like (Kerry Huggins) had no idea what that word ment, never looked it up, and couldn't have comprehended even the word "thumb," let alone "accountability." Yet they used it with utter incompetent impunity to mean you do whatever CEDU says and even if that is making a kid fuck your cat. Now your "being accountable." Fuck you and your "Accountability" too.

They asked me (in a workshop run by idiots from florida) one time what it meant to me to be "acccountable."

I told them in front of all the staff that accountability meant being answerable for our actions such as verbally mentally and physically abusing kids by reporting same to the proper authorities no matter what the consequences - as cited in my profession's code of ethics.

I was told in no uncertain terms that "some people" would refuse to understand accountability and would be worked out of the system naturally. That did it for me.

I blasted them verbally, tearing apart every attempt they made to reframe and define the word "accountability" until one of the facilitators cried. I didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings, but the utter abject stupidity of these people never fails to piss me off. "WELL I GET PISSED - YOU KNOW."

Anyway then I would have to go home and hear about how accountability means the CEDU end justifies the CEDU means, Well, not what I think assholes.

"Are you being accountable/" Fuck You!!!!!!!!!

My fantasy would be all us ex-Cedu kids getting jobs at CEDU as adults and just turning the system on its head.  On an agreed upon day, taking over raps and propheets and blowing the BS wide open!  OK, I know its impractical, but its my fantasy!
