Thanks, but I am wondering who this person is?  e.g. what is his/her background in the teen help industry?  This boot-camp does not appear to be a WWASPS member program (not listed on the WWASPS website), so who owns it is still a mystery.

Anybody have any first-hand knowledge of this person and/or the program, itself?  It looks like it is very very new (less than 6 months old).

You can't say its not wwasp, Just b/c its not up on the web site yet.
Teen Help IS wwasp.

"Looks Like" as in "I'm only guessing" because you really don't know who owns the program, just the name of the person who registered the domain name, Teen Help Online (Tyler Houston) Also, are you saying Teen Help Online is the same as Teen Help, the marketing arm for WWASPS member schools?  If so,why does Teen Help Online only link to WRA?

Personally, I don't think they are the same, in spite of the name similarity but I am definitly  open minded to factual documentation to prove otherwise.

Got Facts?????

Why should there be any question as to who owns this program?  That information should be available on WRA's commercial website.  What kind of parent is going to do business with someone who is reluctant to disclose their own identity, not to mention the names and qualifications of their staff?  I mean, how can a parent trust somebody that has no name?

In my own personal opinion, I think someone who worked for 25 years with the police department should have a keen insight as to what takes a child from birth to being a (troubled kid).  I believe a child is only a product of his/her own environment.  Who should say that a child should be escorted (legally kidnapped) into any program?
Where's the screening of each individual situation.  Child (abused or not), parents (divorced or together), health issues (psychological or other) etc?
In my opinion this whole industry is messed up.
I think the Feds need to step up to the plate and step in.

Randall Hinton started this program from what I understand. That's what he's been doing for the past year and a half - in an effort to distance himself from WWASPS perhaps?

But where did the money come from to open this school? And why leave only a 1 1/2 years later to try and open Kemper in Boonville MO. whom Robert Lichfield (a.k.a. Golden Pond apparently) is flipping the bill for.

Really? Why would you think that? Cops don't usually have any interaction w/ kids unless and until they become a problem. Cops are not trained in childhood development and are notoriously distant from family life (at least big city cops are) So why would you look to law enforcement for insight into child rearing?
