IS IT TRUE THAT THERE IS NO YELLING AT ELAN, NO RINGS, NO VRS, NO HAIRCUTS, NO DEALING CREWS? I HEARD THEY HAVE BIG SCREEN TVS AND THEY ALL CLEAN AND CHILL AND FUNCTION AND WATCH MOVIES, ISN'T THAT SOME SHIT.

thats irrelevant , the guilty flee,  almost like saddam hussien cleaning up before the inspectors came in... think of that, despite their current strides towards normallcy, the sins and horrors spanning back 30 years will fore-ever live in those whom have been affected's memories..

If the hair is too long, they do, but they have tendencies to let people they like slip a bit.. .But no, they make sure people get their haircuts.. .But a lot of time, the African-American kids are hesistant because that lady doesn`t know wtf she`s doing - She left a patch in one boys head once

There were no haircuts in 99??? I go there in 96 and they were already gone, We did have "smoking vr's" Which we pretty egual. Mybe they just changed the name.

If they did away with rings, VR's, etc, Elan would be pointless and boring. Nothing like a little screaming in the morning to get your blood flowing, however I would disagree with the rings. I don't know how they ever got away with the in the first place!!

they still give "haircuts" but now they refer to them as VRs (verbal Reprimand) I was there in 93 and they were called vrs then too
