If I had a dollar for every lawsuit that was threatened in Elan alum/survivor circles, I'd be a millionaire.

I think you would be better off doing something satirical.Don't take this wrong,I appreciate what your trying to do(sort of  :???:)but seriously what are the legalities if you are doing a documentary?
You don't need their permission?

Freedom of speech + Factual account = Legal

Plus we're trying to get both people who support and oppose the place.

Pete what's up.Dude I read you had to wear a chicken suit. You must be mild mannered like Clark Kent.I guess it seems like a big challenge to get 10 or 20 year old facts straight but I suppose It could be done. But why, social conscience? Keep it real dog.

Never had to wear a chicken suit or any other suit.  Costumes were gone by the time I got there.  It's just Nazi stirring up trouble.

No costumes? When did that stop exactly? For those of you that never seen the crazy costumes and shit, you can see why they needed the ring.Put someone in a crazy getup, and then when they resist beat their ass.Good way for the higher ups to fuck with people too

yo, parody head...who said anything about fiction? when did anyone mention fiction??? did i say fiction? did you say fiction? maybe sol rosenberg said fiction, when he meant  f-r-iction..i have no freekin idea.
a parody, lampoon-style, might rock and you certainly could get away with a whole lot more, legally...but where's the fun in that? The TRUTH always makes better reading and thus, better docs.
i do think someday a "South Poland Park"-type piece could raise some hilarious possibilities. then in every episode...you could kill kenny! Imagine!
