Unfortunately she won't do that freedom of speech remember?  The last time I tried to hit on a similar point I was told to "shut up."  You see the problem is that when absolute freedom is given there is always some sicko who has to pop up with something that will be offensive to 99.9% of the population. But like it or not the rest of us have to put up with it. That my good friends is the nature of freedom of speech.  Which ultimately feels great when it suits us and no wonderful when it doesn't (ie tubgirl and for some, nude fotos in general.) However if she edits this where does it stop? What would the guidelines be?

The real problem IMHO is lack of respect. If it is offensive to one more fun for another right?

Exactly. See, I don't find the tub girl photo particularly offensive. We are talking about the one posted a week or so ago of the girl in the tub, right?

I do, otoh, find some of the other content here very offensive. You might be surprised what kind of content I'm talking about, too. So what would the guidelines be then? Whatever I don't like? Whatever you don't like, provided you can successfully intimidate me?

That picture does not need to be censored, it needs to be destroyed.
We can look at the 1st amendment case history with the US Supreame Court.  
Nude photos and tasteful porn are legal.  What they mean by tasteful is porn that creates an erotic emotion.  Something couples can use as sexual foreplay or sex aids as some call it.
Several types of porn have been outlawed such as child porn, animal porn, rape and murder porn.
This site has not been desinated as an adult sex site.  What about those of us with kids.  We have thought it is OK to veiw this site while our children play near by.  If my daughter were to walk up behind me and I scrooled down to that photo with no warning and she saw it.  That would be criminal.  As far as the administrators editing content and where it stops.  I think it sould stop with what is legal or questionable legal and than researched.  Maxim Magizine did a big feature over 1st amendment case histories.

The person posting the picture did it anonymosly.  Is it possible for anyone but administrators to edit anonymous post.
Offensive words take time to read.  Pictures are "boom" there.   Where to draw the line should be common sense.

Sorry I'm not up on Maxim magazine. But while I agree with you on many points the problem is this forum would go away if censorship started. So be careful what you wish for b/c I really do believe you can't have your cake and eat it too here. Not this site no way. Impossible. Just use caution when viewing around the kids. I also have kids and can not view this sight with them around. In this case it is the price we all pay to say whatever we want to.

OK, I'll take back my warning and I will not act on the things that people post.
I will be careful of where and who I veiw this site around.

But I do think that if we are going to have that type of free for all there should at least be a notice at the top warning new veiwers that some content on this site is not suitable for children.
That way they'll know what their getting into and can take precautions.

I agree the photos are in bad taste. However, if we start censoring content based on what is personally objectionable or personally offensive, we will lower the effectiveness of this forum and turn it into  a full fledged troll war and I for one don't have the time to devote to such foolishness.

To the person responsible, please find another way to get your message across.

If we were so inclined, There are several things we could do if it didn't stop, one of them being perhaps outing to this site the actual name, email address, and/or Ip address of those posting offensive material anonymously and repeatedly. Please remember that before you continue and remember you are only "anon" because you are allowed to be, and try to remember that this forum exists as a public service, free of charge, for a very distinct reason. Please respect it and respect yourself before hitting the "say it" button. Your right to post whatever you please here is something you should want to not abuse and protect.

Thank you.  Our job is not to censor. Please don't try to drag the moderators and administrators into a debate about what is appropriate or offensive. Instead, try to resolve it within the community. And as adults, try to post material that isn't visually offensive to a majority of people.

My personal opinion, Tub girl is gross, but interesting in the fact that someone would actually do such a thing and allow herself to be photographed.  Appropriate on this website? No because it is out of context. It belongs on a gross out site, a funny picture site, or a porno site. The other pictures that are supposedly of Morli are offensive because they are here soley to humiliate someone in a way that is hard to defend. I find that repugnant.  

Why is either example above being posted here? What benefit is the poster getting out of it? What message is being conveyed? Nothing postive in my opinion. If you are going to troll (and some of the trolling, quite frankly, has been brilliant) do it in a fashion that conveys a message or makes a point.

Ginger mantains this site, at personal expense and great time, soley for the rest of us to express our opinion. That is valuable. That is somewhat unique, and an adult well adjusted person would find a way to appreciate and honor that.

I really had to think about this. If I'd run accross the one instance, I would have just held my nose and scrolled on past it. For the sake of your children, I hope you'll let them in the the big open secret that the world is just scattered w/ really offensive, obnoxious shit and that they shouldn't be too surprised to find some laying about in public places.

But there are some things I will delete or edit. When someone does something to make the forum inoperable or unusable for others, that's a problem I have to solve. Repeatedly posting a huge ass image that's sure to piss off most people and potentially draw viable criminal complaints is just such a thing. Doesn't have to be offensive. Remember when some joker filled up the fora w/ just huge city-scape images ? I did the same thing.

Oh yeah! Thanks for remindingme, dad! I also bitterly resent being obliged to work when I have better things to do. I still reserve the right to edit and delete w/ wonton disregard for anyone else's opinions. But I really, really hate do do it.
