ok, so.... whatever happened to the kitchen lady? she was pretty cool. never spoke to her, really, but , obviously she knew what was going on...or was she brainwashed, too? just curious.

nice lady, sure - but I regard her in the same way I regard the parent of a child who knows the other parent is abusing the child and does nothing about it.  Or the teacher who sees signs of abuse in a student but remains silent.

that is really true. i knew she was nice, but in the "cool" sense? i dont think so. you're right. if she really realized and felt bad about the whole thing, she would've done something. how many times did i wish she did see what was going on? well, i know now, she defenitely was brainwashed....and for so many years! wow! i wonder if she regrets not ever saying sh** !!

You have to remember that at least in Hackencrap she was only allowed to pull up the partition on the serving area 1/4 way. She was also not allowed in the group room as far as I remember. She had to hear all the shit though.... I wonder what she thought.

she must've seen people getting restrained or heard them. i know, though, that she was probably not supposed to get involved. but, like i said....she was brainwashed. i wonder if she left when secaucus shut down. she was nice....i know she asked some of the oldcomers about their past. she would only see the reason why "people" thought we needed to be there. i remember when she won an award for, i dont know what, on one open meeting night. i'm guessing "good cook"? ::trophy::
