Everywhere I stayed was like a fortress. These fire codes were being stretched in a big way. Beltlooping and supervised bathroom visits were also a staple. There were very many similarities of KHK to straight.
I see Penny Walker still runs the place

was in KHK from 96-97, the place was fucked up.  Needs to be shut down, and those running it should be locked up.  I remember them telling me if i did not work their program i wouldn't make it through college or keep a girlfriend.  Meanwhile i am enrolled in law school, engaged, and get along great with my parents (whom have sent apologized profusely for putting me in there).

Wow hard to believe that ye were in here way after me, nearly ten years after.
Hard to believe that it is still happening even to this day. Have ye signed the petitions going around here yet?
I hope that ye have as we need to unify to get them shut down for real!

I was in KHK in Hebron 1989-1990. What a messd up place that was. I also have a friend who was in there in 89 but her parents pulled her...huh wish my parents had been so thoughtful.
After they moved to Milford...they turned the building in to a catering hall and bar...Me and a buddy went in there and got trashed...lol nothing like getting drunk in the old rehab building!!! :eek:
