I have been keeping a close eye on reports about cell phone effects on the human body.  I have read that it may cause tumors in the brain.  There have been a number of studies on the subject.  My question is this.  If there is a potential cause and effect with long term exposure to cell phones then why don?t we see the effects in our hospitals.  There are so many people using cell phones now, I would think that if exposure represented any real threat we would see it.  There should be thousands of reported cases of brain tumors now.  Also the people that created cell phones use them daily.  I don?t think they would want to hurt themselves or family and friends.

Well, I think it's more like the way the upper classes in times past killed themselves with prosperity. Poor ppl rarely got lead poisoning, for example, because they couldn't afford puter dishes.

The signal from a cell phone is very, very weak. Nowhere near enough to cause a noticable burn, even if you held your hand right over it for hours at a time. But over the longterm, say 20 years or more of exposure for several hours per day, it might have an effect. We won't know about that till we get to the point where 20 years have passed since damned near everybody got a cell phone.

Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.
