Well, I think it's more like the way the upper classes in times past killed themselves with prosperity. Poor ppl rarely got lead poisoning, for example, because they couldn't afford puter dishes.
The signal from a cell phone is very, very weak. Nowhere near enough to cause a noticable burn, even if you held your hand right over it for hours at a time. But over the longterm, say 20 years or more of exposure for several hours per day, it might have an effect. We won't know about that till we get to the point where 20 years have passed since damned near everybody got a cell phone.
Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.
