They are destructive to developing adolescent and teen minds.

Making a mentally challenged, emotionally damaged and traumatized, self loathing, self questioning, lost soul of an adult.

Stay with your children. Sending them away, for someone else to reform, is neglectful, irresponsible, self serving, and unloving.

And guess what?  These self - loathing adults end up working at these programs producing more self-loathing adults.

I alway wonder exactly who do the parents think get hired to work at these programs?  They might think they are professionals, based on the cost; however, the employees who spend the most time with the students are nothing more than other screwed-up adults.  I found that most individuals who are employed in these programs are there because they are more comfortable in the company of teenagers than they are with people their own age.  Perhaps not the most mature population, if you know what I mean.
