Yeah, Mike, that's the only thing about it that really troubles me. Matt originally asked me to set up this forum because some people felt that Kens was too restrictive and that some of the others were also not meeting their needs.

Most of these forums came here for similar reasons; because their bulk provider had shut them down or because there just didn't exist a public forum about their particular program. (hence the name, where the acronym is no coincidence)

Since then, one after another after another forum or web page on these programs has just blinked out of existance, often w/o any explanation. At least one of the links in AnonAnon is a 404, so I have go get around to fixing that.

There's more. I know so many people who've been jerked around in so many ways for trying to tell their own story about various programs. All of us, I think, understand first-hand how they turn families against eachother. Failing that, they won't hesitate to mount a smear campaign, threaten and/or file lawsuits or really whatever it takes to shut sombody up.

That's what burns my butt about this whole thing. It works. How can this happen in our free country? How can the founders of Straight, Inc. hold ambassadorships, write public policy and receive public funding to carry it out, all the while we who know these people and what they're capable of have to live in fear if we dare speak of it?

I really won't know for sure till I read the complaint and hear back from my lawyer. I was expecting to get it today, but didn't. Oh well.

Probably the best thing you could do for me would be to tell anyone who might be interested. I may need to start a legal defense fund. I'll certainly need as much publicity as I can get. Whether we win or lose in court is one thing. But, unlike 20 years ago, nobody's doing a damned thing to me in secret. Whatever these people want to do, I intend to make sure they do it right out in the open, in front of God and everyone.

Step 1. We came to understand that the government is powerless over people's private use of drugs and that the War on Drugs was making the government's life unmanageable.

Hey i work for The Miami NewTimes, I am just one of the 10 photographers for their website (www.miaminewtimes.com) and do some of their promotional events, movie premieres. I could speak to the publisher? To see if anything can be done? But I need clear stated documentation of what I am asking for, can u put something together? And I'll talk to him?

Thank You!!! You're the best! I haven't got any documentation of anything yet. Frankly, the whole thing is starting to look more than a little fishy. Check your private messages for more.

New Times is a great  paper.  Ginger, I'd speak to this guy.  Absolutely!  Hook, line, sinker.  :nworthy:

Legalizing drugs would simultaneously reduce the amount of crime and raise the quality of law enforcement. Can you conceive of any other measure that would accomplish so much to promote law and order?
