I happen to know a 15-year-old girl who was sent  to this "institution" by her parents.  She has no arrests.  She is nothing more than a normal teen.  She is a Russian adoptee whose parents never really wanted her.  The minute that the teen years became a bit too much to handle, they sent her to this place.

Even before the People article, her grandparents, aunts and uncles were all trying desperately to get her home (to us, not her parents), but our hands seem to be tied.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you can prove the facility is abusive, you might have a chance of getting custody. It's expensive.
