a bit of advice to those of you posting on this site. heed the legalese so kindly provided by your webmistress. she is telling you the truth. youmust be very careful how you present these allegations as the school is aware of these sites and is fully within their rights to prosecute offenders for defamation, lible and/or slander. Truth must be proven first. Free speech? There is no such thing. You need to read some case law before you start shooting yourselves in the foot. if you really want to accomplish something ie; close the place down and send the offenders...um...elsewhere, then you ALL need to clean up your acts. Ranting obscenities destroys any credibility you may posess. Publishing phone numbers and addresses is just plain stupid. The internet is not the safe haven you think it is. Be responsible...use what you have been taught by the system to bring the system down. (Elan Only!) Be smart..consult professionals...you may have a case for something, but be prepared for a vicious fight. You kids are heros in my book...you survived. Dont blow it now when its possible you may get some REAL revenge...legally! Use the system....use your brains. Sites like this do not aid your credibility...do it quietly out of public view. Dig? Do tell! Which teenhelp site just dropped Elan?

You do have a way with words, Truth is your right, how long have these anti elan sites been around, they know everyone who posts will come to anyones aid if elan tries to sue.  Im there for any ex resident they try to take to court, as i know ya'll would too.
I smell fear on their part, anyone else??  Good words art glad to see ya round.

hey syn, this is the friend u have been talking to in philly, but the guy who said what art is responding to is an attorney on our side...i think u should come back on im so i can explain a couple of things that might help ina new approach

I only wish to say that Art does have somewhat of a point.  I could appreciate what the anonymous poster wrote.  I really can.. It is osund advice, but still Art makes sense, and I agree with what it is that he is saying, in so far as, Elan very well may have their back up againts the wall.  Suing any of use, would most likley require a lot to come out into the light.


Also, who the hell has time to read the "Art of War"?
Most I think will not.

Perhaps, but it may not be in everyone's taste.

I would say that it is not required in order to sue Elan.

paul, in order to change my approach i have been advised by the lawyer to no longer leave my name here, i have deleted what posts i can, just keep in mind that the ball has begun rolling, and btw did u go to elan? cause if so , i may want to interview u for the documentary. its all love over here in philly land, please you must understand, that we are more than on your side, those with legal experience have the knowledge as how to handle this, although complicated and daunting, VICTORY can very well be ours, just like the battle for middle earth...if u want reply with an aol im name an s i shal im you...

listen art , or whomever you are...you need to calm down and do this  the smart way. if you dont wish to participate in something real...then keep spouting filth and silliness. no one listens to people who yell and make no sense whatsoever. i know what you all endured and i fully understand your anger. im with you. i sent my son there and ill have to live with that for the rest of my life. most importantly you all need to "get over it", before you can coherently make a stand. be smart. mouthing off never works..just makes you look dumb. You have legitimate issues. Whether or not the statute of limitations has expired is an issue. It may also be reversed and reopened...but this is 'advanced law' and not for dilletantes. Just cool your jets and let the people who are familiar with this sort of thing take a deep look.

i mean, do you want action or just a forum?
send all your stories , anecdotes  and ideas to the address posted on this site for the purpose. NO NAMES on this board, please. save it for that private address. no one else but the principals will have access- so its confidential and safe and secure. let me also add...you need to have as much PROOF as you can. Tapes, photos, affadavits, videos etc. Witnesses to an event, should be able to tell it the way they remember it and cite the names of other witnesses. Corroboration is key. Without it...we're just pissing in the wind. If you come forward you may be asked to give a deposition on camera...this is a legally binding  gig..so you cannot lie. Truth is what matters and nothing but the truth.
You guys need to get together...you are all brothers/sisters in this..fighting amongst yourselves is not the way to go. Unity is called for. Put aside your past impressions..many tried to get tossed out by misbehaving really really badly...didnt work, did it? you have no idea what you are up against here. This school has their asses covered...a legal battle may not work. Others have tried and failed. Im thinking about the court of public opinion...get my drift?  ART (not you, art) always wins in the end. Dont make things worse by acting like idiot children. Be supportive..if you have something to add thats constructive, we want to hear it. If not...shut the fuck up.
