I saw a recent post out there about the lack of
New England/Boston people in this forum.
I was in Straight Boston from 12/87 - 9/89.
Some regrets. Some anger.
I remember Evans Drive.
If any of you were there and remember Jeff Rainey, I regret to inform you of his death.
He was killed by a shoplifter he was trying to
hold until police arrived while working for a
sporting goods store in Portland, ME.
Jeff was a friend. His family was very kind to me.

Anyway. Hopefully some more New England people will speak up and share some news.

All the best from here.

hey Boston over here!

There are not too many Boston Stoughton people around but there are a few. Not really enough to have our own area.

I was on Evans Drive 89-91

what's up..welcome to um here

I was there 88-90. cant remember dates though. 18 months of flourescent HELL!!!

I think i remember Jeff. if he is who i'm thinking of, he was a nice guy. sorry to here the bad news.

i have a hard time remembering alot of things about that time(thankfully). someone steerd me to this site a week ago and i haven't gotten a good nights sleep since. i almost wish i never came here. god knows i have enough problems that i dont need to be consumed by whether or not straight is the reason i brush my teeth in the shower. life goes on.

I remember you Kaydee(Karen). real angry. i remember the tom driscoll thing too. good for you on never giving in to those pricks. any news on how anyone else is doing?

hopefully eventually i can go back to my ignorant bliss on this matter. still have the occasional nightmare but they've gotten better over time.

again i'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

hey

I spoke to Garrett remember him?

him is doing ok

Fuck Tom Driscoll ha! who punches a girl? I have the last laugh on that one (I think) I'm a little less angry now. That was hell. Matt who?

Can definately say I tried not to give in. Sometimes it was easier not to give in then to give in in there. That place was a pit.

Whatever for the teeth in the shower thing it's quicker. For the nightmares, look at it this way life is a journey you can go on the scary roller coster or you can ride the tea-cups. Fuck it.

There's so much comedy on television.  Does that cause comedy in the streets?

thanks for the education Straight

hehe no I really did go to college

Hear me people: We now have to deal with another race - small and feeble when our fathers first met them, but now great and overbearing. Strangely enough they have a mind to till the soil and the love of possessions is a disease with them. These people have made many rules which the rich may break but the poor may not. They take their tithes from the poor and weak to support the rich and those who rule.

I saw Tom at a CVS about 2 years ago. I remember getting that feeling in the pit of my stomach, like what you would get on a friday night review. I remember feeling hot. I didnt say anything to him, just stopped dead in my tracks and stared at him.

Hey Rich
Thanks for the News. I remember Jeff very well he was a big skier. I stayed at the same house as him for a while. I'm sorry to hear about Jeff he was a nice person. I also saw your post on Arron Apgar another nice person we were on 1st phase together. Not sure if you remember Mike Casey from Natick but he has also passed. I heard he was in a bad motorcycle accident and was paralyzed and passed a short time later. He was a really good guy. So hope all is well with you. What's up MATT M!!

Nice to hear from you, Matt.
If I'm not mistaken, you're in the NG picture, right? Jeff Rainey was in that photo too!
Remember Chris Alhman? He was in that picture as well
Horrible about Jeff. He had a very young son too. And his mom said that they spent EVERY available second together.
I do remember Mike Casey. He and Dave Stanizzi were good friends.
Lots of people from Evans Drive are no longer with us.

Anyway, glad that you are well.

o.k., now i know that I know must of you guys, touched base with Sully and Bunnies at some point too. Told a story about my concussion and mentioned Peter B., friend and great person to the end. He passed on as well following a high speed police chase a few years after his release from straight. may they all Rest In Peace

I remember Aaron, Dave and Jeff well.  I am sorry to hear they are gone. It seems I know of alot of people from stoughton straight who are dead.
I am in boston now for a short time and would like to hear from others. Wheres Jeb? Melisa? Buffy? what were the twin brothers names?

Does anyone remember that girl whose boyfriend came and spray-painted "PAPO LOVES YOU" on the outside of the building?
Yep, that was me, Julie
