Rosewood / mel sembler
« on: October 30, 2003, 03:10:00 AM »
Here's something that may fuck up your thoughts a little.  At least it fucks me up some.
Me and a couple other blokes have been crazily attempting to bring more legal awareness to the table of talkative survivors *and untalkative ones*.  Additive for whatever Mr. Bradburage is doing to stick the pump to Mel's ends.
Attorneys know that it is more than just plaintiffs coming to the stand, talking about what happened, and taking the money.
It seems, too, that Mel Sembler knows who Holland and Knight are.
Holland and Knight are the Big motherfuckers who set right a piece of what happened at Rosewood.  H n K (attorney Steve) worked the case pro bono and won a fat settlement for some of the poor blacks who deserved it.
When you are as corrupt and mobile and shifty and needy as Melvin and Betty Sembler you are gonna need large motherfuckin attorneys.
Turns out that Melvin got to Holland and Knight before we did.  He is a lucky son of a bitch.  Steve told me that if Mel hadn't beat us to the punch with his need of corporate support, H n K would have taken our case against outstanding orgarnized genocide.
Conflict of interests.
Hmm.  For the last couple of large attorneys I have approached, it seems as if they turn around and suddenly find out (who is telling them?) who Melvin White Racist Hitler Sembler is, and then these attorneys get all yellow backed and puss out.
We saw the four corner protest at 22nd and 34th street today.  LARGE Banners with the words, 'Bush is a liar, don't forget to vote'!!!  Something real honest like that or better.
We stopped by and directed one of the leaders to this site.
This irrational question as to whether or not some of the rats who come to post here are really 'survivors' at all, has been shooting around in my mind.  I guess I have known the answer as soon as the question was asked however.
It matters not at all if people try to perp me out, or the cause out, or sell out.  I believe in with the power of emotion that soon my enemies, now that I know their names, shall fall.

No, that doesn't fuck up my thoughts any more. A couple of years ago, I picked up on the same pattern. It was before I started looking into Straight. It was about ABATE supporting Wayne Huizenga. Long story.

Yes, there is power in a name. That's why we weren't allowed to use names. That's why all the slap suits and threats. If we can speak freely, the game's over.

But misanthropy and rampant paranoia seem to be the order of the day, every day. We're not in group anymore. No one's getting started over. We're the grown ups now. So why do we still have such trouble speaking with eachother?

The major benefit to any legal action, regardless of the outcome, is that it compels all parties involved to make their respective cases on the public record. It's part of how a community talks to itself. The Bradbury case is as close as I think anyone has ever gotten.

Turns out, there are some ties between H. Wayne Huizenga and the Semblers. I didn't come here looking to sort out my weird twilight zone years at Straight. It's the other way around. I came here looking for the mother fuckers who seemed to be turning my world into some nightmarish Nazi wet dream with me and mine as the protagonists. What I found at the end of that rope was the pack of wolves who raised me.

Were the government to prescribe to us our medicine and diet, our bodies would be in such keeping as our souls are now. Thus in France the emetic was once forbidden as a medicine, and the potato as an article of food. Government is just as infallible,[sic] too, when it fixes systems in physics. Galileo was sent to the Inquisition for affirming that the earth was a sphere.... It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.

What I find as I try to tell people about this and show people this stuff and the links and who and where and how it weaves together like some sick fucking quilt of destruction is that they just don't believe it

why I think I finally know

to believe that a conspiricy (sp?) that great involving that many people who have that much power is too frightening and to think that I am just eccentric as usual is much more comforting

also they have NEVER heard of it esp. up here it is not like Florida where it was so prevelent
NY never had a Straight it would not have worked here the consent to sign out age (whatever it is called) is 16

the Eron connection--- that shit blew my mind did he kill himself---probably not murdered
Straight connections, and who has enron stock and now is part of a class action lawsuit

my fucking parents um WTF?

this is the stuff that no one believes because no one wants to. This is what they are counting on, that we will grow tired, run up against too many barriers, get no help from any attny's because they fear their jobs or if you look at enron their lives

it sounds insane when I write it

Do I think they are reading this YES what to do about that I don't know, but I spent a real long time in silence and I am not going to stop talking now. With Bush's cleverly named patriot act he is prolly listening in to everything everywhere now anyway so fuck it. it is finally 1988

this has to be my cause because I cannot let is go and it burns me and people are so blind ignorance is bliss but look at Nazi Germany what does it take for people to be driven to action

oh they are not after me then it is your neighbor then your friend then your relative then you. Stop it now.

I will never post anon. Come and get me and haul me away. I hear they have TV in prision (a joke a bad one but my attempt at humor  :smokin:)

A government resting on the minority is an aristocracy, not a Republic, and could not be safe with a numerical and physical force against it, without a standing army, an enslaved press and a disarmed populace.

It takes a thousand voices to tell just one story. It's happening. I think we'll pull it out in the last inning and, unlike Germany, we'll run the Nazis out without a lot of foreign intervention.

Ardent advocates of prohibition were obsessed by a zeal that bordered on fanaticism. They supported politicians who voted to outlaw liquor, no matter how much of it they privately consumed, and spurned politicians who voted against prohibition, no matter how sober they were personally.
