Haunted House
« on: October 18, 2003, 10:07:00 PM »
As Halloween approaches I can't help but to remember the haunted houses.  As a sibling I remember many late nights setting up the old open meeting room and/or the the smaller room (with the bifold doors).  And then taking part in scaring the crap out of every one that came through.   I can't seen to remember going through one when I was in group though, did they stop having them, or did I just block that out too?  :???:  If anyone remembers them in detail you will remember that we sometimes had some really sick sh*t going on in them, and I think it is a little ironic that "Mr. Holy" let us get so crazy with what we did.

There was always a lot put into that whole Halloween Haunted house thing. I think they even got scraps from the butcher to lay out on tables to FREAK us out !!!! It did stop at some point ,but don`t remember when or why ?

also I was remembering the talent shows we use to have early on. I was listening to the radio yesterday and that "Pink Caidalack" song came on . I remember doing some kind of skit to that.

Sometimes it sems like a life time ago.......

There was at least one haunted house in the new building.  It was down stairs.  But I don't remember anything other than that.  And if you're thinking of that song, you must have spent time in the new building with the talent show theme on colors.

Hey how 'bout those Easter Bonnets too?

I remember 2 in Hackensack. One in the 'soon to be' big room in 85, and the other, the next year in the room across the hall from the staff offices. Remember the chain saw at the end? Why did Ruth Ann wear her costume all year round? Could never figure that out....  ::ftard::

I remember that one in '85 with the chainsaw at the end. Remember carving pumpkins with a spork? That was the same day I got my first & only haircut on first phase. The mom that did it cut my hair up to my ears. I looked rediculous. My mother actually laughed at me when she saw me in open meeting. I was so mad. Some of those haircut moms were butchers.
