In her defense, it does work for many. I realize Inclucated had had some bad experiences being "couch" prone while on it but perhaps she's using the wrong strain (Indica, rather than Sativa).

@Inculcated: if you have a club card, ask for a Sativa strain rather than an Indica and see how that turns out. Indicas are notorous for creating the "couch" phenomenon you speak of while Sativas tend to give people more energy.

Do me a favor, Eliscu. Before you pop off with another self-justifying response on this board, why don't you take a little time to think things over. If you are honest with yourself, then I think you will see that you do not have anything here to take a stand about. This whole thing began with an unprovoked attack by you upon me. Against the advice of my friend, I came here to this thread in the first place to write about the Family (a cult that I happen to know a thing or two about), and not to parry about with trolls.

This is one of the most despicable, damnable groups that is presently operating in this country, and internationally as well.

The Family and the COS, they in my opinion are the most destructive and generally evil cult organizations around.

David "Moses" Berg (whom they believe to be God's end-time prophet) glorified sex and sexuality on a level that was practically beyond understanding, and was involved in all manner of sexual deviancy.

Pedophilia and incest were and are par for the course in this cult, form part of the core of their belief system, and was and is incorporated into their worship.

When it comes to the Family, I take the matter seriously and personally. This is one thing that I just do not joke around about.

Here are some examples of Family publications in which the elevation of sex to some spiritual pastime is evidenced. Only look if you can stomach it. Not for the faint of heart.

That is so sick but I'm glad you brought it to our attention.
In an historical sense The Family is not alone in it attitude toward pedophelia and incest although they carry it to extremes:
We have the Bible that tells of Job having sex with his two daughters (after having fled their town where he had offered them up to a beligerant crowd) and many examples of inter "marrying".
We have fundamentalist Mormons who "marry" off their children to sect elders in order to curry favor with the powers that be. They do the same thing in middle eastern countries and we have ancient Egyptian royals marrying thier siblings and European royals marrying cousins. Then there is always female genital mutilation practised in many Muslim countries. In Synanon, Jonestown, the Branch Dividians and various other cults continuing to spring up It always seems to boil down to some sickos convincing the sheep that the road to salvation is through allowing them to control everyone else's sexuality and/or reproductive powers. Its crazy and sick. No wonder there are so many screwed people in the world. Its time for the sheep of the world to arise and put an end to this crap.
