No, I don't think anyone's payin $12.5k for the contents of this site. It's all public. Anyone can have all of it for free, or for the cost of enough hard drive space to store it.
What they paid for, as I understand it, was the content of the Trecker's list. That was a closed list. I don't know exactly what the content in question is. WWASP seems to think these folks infringed their trademark. I don't know. I may never know as it's all very hush-hush till the verdict comes in. And, as we all know, that's practically a crap shoot.
I am sick unto death of obscure English towns that exist seemingly for the sole accommodation of these so-called limerick writers -- and even sicker of their residents, all of whom suffer from physical deformities and spend their time dismembering relatives at fancy dress balls.
