Yes, all staff should be laid off immediately.  Then the programs should be closed.

Why bother with "safer" quackery?

I think we all know that the people who want to become staff at a school for kids are those who want to help children and affect their lives in a positive way.  If you took some time to speak with people who work with kids or want to have a career working with children you would find out that they are good people in general.  But because of the few school teachers and therapists who end up hurting the children they are suppose to be helping we cannot condemn all the industries associated with helping children or assume all therapists and school teachers are capable of hurting children.  Its just an unsubstantiated conclusion.

What we see here on fornits is just un harnessed anger with no specific target.  We see parents getting attacked, then staff, then therapists and teachers.  Then we see intensely focused attacks on Educational Consultants, program directors, the industry in general.  Then it goes full circle.  What we rarely see, within the confines of fornits, are people who are pissed at themselves for the poor choices they made which lead up to their inevitable placement.  This type of focus and discussion would probably get everyone closer to the root cause of why these programs exist and are doing so well.

Quit trying to speak for everyone with your "we all know" shit.

If you had actually been inside a program as a client, you'd know what we're talking about.  But you weren't, so you don't.

Spin away, spin away.

While in therapy, people are encouraged to get to the root of their problems.  So happens that, for many of us, the root of the problem IS the program, or parents.  I know that's a difficult concept for many parents to accept...that they may have screwed up their own kid, but it doesn't make it any less true.

Ya know Anne,
You are much easier to read when your not insulting someone.
You don't even bother to see the merits in what whooter is saying. Whether you like it or not he makes a great deal of sense and you appear to be intimidated by what he says. I'm just saying....

Sharon are you are angry with Che but we have a hard time understanding you for several reasons.  Your personal attacks, profanity, rude jokes and lack of proper sentence structure are the main reasons.   There are professionals who can help you to communicate more effectively.  I think you should pursue this option because it will open up doors to boost your confidence.
