The last I heard about him - and this is strictly hearsay, I don't know it for a fact - was that he "bought in" to the program big time. Supposedly he embraced WWASPs values wholeheartedly and became a "program kid" who praised the program as the best thing that ever happened to him. However, even if that information is accurate it's several years old so there's no telling if he still feels that way. Sounds like classic "Stockholm Syndrome" to me. It's not to be wondered at, since he was raised by religious fanatics. He's been conditioned all his life to believe what he's told to believe on the assurance that he will go to hell if he doesn't. Besides which, the news stories give me the impression that he wasn't exactly an intellectual giant in the first place.
