I want to tell you about a very dangerous scam. Teen Treatment Centers. I am familiar with a few. The one in I speak about today is the Elan School. These people literally have beaten children,starved them,forced them into manual labor in sub-zero weather and the list goes on and on.

Many years ago,you did a story about Joe Ricci and his treatment center Elan. All the while,children were being abused as it was being taped, Next you did a story about Mike Skakel and his trial. Though some of the truth about Elan came out,nothing was done about the abuses.

Today this "school" functions in Poland Springs Me. Some of the same abusers still work at the "school" under the cover of "treatment". Elan is not the only treatment center scam but is the one I know most about. I was there as a teenager. I understand thereare many schools just like this that have,and still abuse children.

I have been interviewed by some local newspapers in Me along with several others. I have told the truth about them a number of times,as have others. Yet they still do what they do. I am hoping for the media to do the right thing,as the statutes of limitations have all run out. Pursueing a legal avenue is impossible.
