Independent Educational Consultants Association Conference. Nov. 7-9 in Washington, DC.  Let's pray the sniper situation is resolved by then.

It is open to all in the Industry.  One day is all Boarding Schools and the other day is all Specialty Programs.  I plan on meeting many that I have spoken to and represent. I have been in this industry, going on 4 years now, and placed over 100 children successfully, as well as visited over 15 schools.  That is what qualifies me as a CEP.  Certified Educational Planner.  Huh!  Donna had this planned for me and I am doing my best.  

Steve Bozak, an IECA member, actually told me personally, I am a more qualified CEP than many of the IECA members!  And I know parents think so.  Steve has continually asked me to move to NY to work for him, but I love PURE and I love Florida!  As I was having my new cards made up for our new address, and BBB status, Steve told me to be sure to add CEP.  He is truly the only EC that I would ever trust.

Anyway, Lon Woodbury, Tom Crooke and all the stuffy IECA members will be there, but I am going to meet all the schools and programs.  I am bringing 2 other representatives of PURE also.  So I won't be alone in this bee's nest!  BTW:  WWASP always sends a rep too....can't wait to see who that is....


Is there a connection?

Is this how one becomes a Certified Educational Planner?  Hate to tell ya, I would trust other parents with kids in programs more than I would trust the likes of individuals such as this.  (However, it would take more than just other parents testimonials to convince me a program was safe and providing what my kids may be deemed to need.)

Interesting don't ya think!

Don't we all think parents need to be aware of the so called expertise these individuals profess to hold.  I do!

If I'm to believe that Sue Scheff wrote this then she is admitting she has no personal experience with "many" of the schools she "represents other than phone calls?"

Certified would normally and ethically indicate that person has taken a course, testing, etc., to obtain the designation.  Yes, she may be more qualified, but not certified.  Did she ever actually become legally certified?

Wake up and smell the money, parents.  That's what this industry is all about and WHY the number of referral services is growing so quickly nobody knows for sure how many of these non-regulated (and unlicensed) businesses are in operation.

This is quite interesting!  Seems like Sue has decided that ethics are not a part of her life, at least when it comes to helping families.

But that is apparent in both the court document http://www.purerebuttal.com and also on her website.  

When I was searching for a program I came across her site and it felt like some sort of vendetta.  The negativity really turned me off, not only that, but the purpose, I felt, was not in helping parents,but to discredit a program - How the hell did she ever get a BBB status?  That really needs to be challenged.

I do not think it is hard to get the BBB status.  I think holding on to it could be the issue.

Oh, Carey, oh, Carey....you of all people know the great depth of despair Mocha has suffered.  What possible justification could you dredge up in your muddled mind of garbage, filth, hate, and miguided passion?  

This is the most horrific use of personal mail for yet-another of Scarey Carey's vendettas.  Please consider the source of this material, people.  No one deserves raw salt poured into wounds so Carey can have another of her insane "I told you so"s".

Carey is so filled with hate she will stoop to levels way worse than the sane person would consider.  She is bordering on insane...no knowing the difference between right and wrong.

I never suggested she is crazy.

Quite the opposite. Carey knows exactly what she is doing. It's deliberate. She has been defaming Pure,Sue Scheff for months . She's jealous. Nothing more or less. Everything else is smoke to hide the real truth of her anger at Pure.

Ever sense she was ask to go for violating confidentiality agreements. She's doing it again. Whats the purpose?  "to help the kids?" Bullshit.

I've watched her act. It not impressive.
