Where's this supposed apology from Weiner? Certainly not in the NY Times, which stands by its story and which is reporting further. Also, they have just appointed an ombudsman to handle reader complaints-- and not a peep on this story, which is substantiated by numerous other accounts anyway.
And I love the idea that WWASP thinks prospective customers would believe a bunch of anonymous people who won't use their last names claiming to have been misquoted by the Times, when the Times cited full names.
Where's the rebuttal to the Observer article, that's what I want to know! They can't rebut that because they let someone witness what went on firsthand and their voodoo didn't work on her.
