He was taken to Diamond Ranch Academy by uniformed Escorts looking like police officers.

I was wondering when this story would get some pub on Fornits.  Seriously, this kid's got a freakin' army that's got his back.  Alas, it's proving to an entire Florida community that parents have the legal power to abuse their kids by proxy (or at least detain against their will).  Too bad DRA isn't an Aspen program.  It would have been the 2009 trifecta - humiliation (MBA), death (Sagewalk), and false imprisonment (DRA).

Been following this story for awhile, I suggested to the lady who contacted me about a month ago to talk to Heal. They've made it an action alert whatever it is they call it at Heal. Has Cafety done anything like this to rally their supporters to assist this kid?

Who cares? According to the person he was living with at the time he was doing a hell of alot better. Sounds to me like the otherside of the story is DRA and their manipulating his parents with some deadinsaneorinjail horseshit. Obviously they pulled a fast sell on them as he was doing ok, I've talked to one of the people involved where he was living, and he was sorting things out.

So yeah the otherside of the story.. parents being scammed by a program. Not a very original tale as we've all heard it before.

You have parents who come here (Like myself) and read about these kids coming from good families and being sent away for no apparent reason, like Brendan was.  It gives them a little relief that they made the right decision sending  their own child.  At least they know their kid is there for a reason i.e. wasn’t going to school and was living an at risk life style.  Another nice thing (or a bonus)is their children will be exposed to other kids (who aren’t trouble makers) who may have a good influence on them hoping it will rub off.
I feel bad for Brendan for being stuck with lousy parents, but most parents would like to have their kid around someone like him i.e. nice kid, calm, likes to write poetry.   Maybe some will rub off.   Beats having to send your kid to a program where they would be exposed to druggies and others who are worse than your own child.

And right next to Brendan to the left you have the kid who is a compulsive fire starter, saw one of those at three springs. Off to the right you have the clown who raped a hooker with a baseball bat, they had one of those at Peninsula Village. Behind him you have the compulsive masturbator who touched his sister's private spot, I saw a guy like that once who was called, "sister fucker" by his entire group.

Maybe if he's really luckily he'll be around the druggies, but the sheer slew of poorly placed kids out there almost ensures that their kids will be thrown in with an unknown number troubled young folks who really need better care than the program promised them and their parents. The programs really can't help it as they are a business and who are they to turn away perfectly good cash?

My belief is that those are just stories to scare the parents into bringing them home early, make them feel quilty or scare off prospective parents.  If you read all the survivor stories here on fornits you will see that none of them were bad kids.  They just caught a tough break with the parents they got stuck with.  I never read any stories here where they said they started fires or raped a hooker (How does a hooker claim rape anyway?  Is that is you dont pay them?), lived an at-risk life style or even deserved to be sent away.  Most parents with an at-risk child would choose people like fornits posters to have around their kids in a program.
Brendan was attending school, good kid, calm, friendly, not doing any drugs, easy to get along with and was an aspiring poet.  Compared to that most other kids pale, I wish he was a friend of my child.

Stories eh?

http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-276536.html

And yes parents, be very scared because programs are money making machines who will take anyone with a pulse to fill their pockets. Be very scared, be worried for the safety of your children, be aware that the person next to them might be in need of much more help than the program will ever be able to provide, and be absolutely freaked out of your knob that the person who is supposed to be protecting your kid is probably a poorly trained minimum wage slave.

Yes. be scared, because chances are your kid may well be in for one hell of a nightmare.

Che Gookin should move on with his life instead of spending most of his time on this website and trying to shut down boarding schools.  Do you have more important things to do Che?  How many gulags have you succeeded in shutting down?  He spends most of his time on Fornits because this is the only place he has a voice.  It is time to grow up Che!
