Hey everyone I was tossing around an Idea of Lets get together and try and get Good ol Phill Donahue To have a show about us folks later on in life what happen to the people of straight,I bet we could make it happen,
The reason is that Phill Donahue used to film us at the Straight in St. Pete and would have his whole hour on this program
this happened 3 times when I was there and that was only 6 months, but when your in there its like 6 years!!! this would be a chance to air our concerns of what has happen up to now.
Im sure he would love to do a show on us today, If I can arrange it, how many of you are willing to appear? No bullshitting either, for real!
This is a one time chance to let the world know what realy happen behind those doors!!!

I will make it happen but I sure as hell dont want to be the only one sitting in front of a live audience by my self.
and are you willing to travel to appear on his show if they dont provide the cost??

I would be more than willing to go on the show. I was in the atlanta straight for 19 months in or around 1985. I do have alot to say, so yes, it would be great if you could give me more info.

Phil Donahue doing a show on Straight ?? I would like to see the show from the stands do you think the radical republican right would let that happen? I mean we would be on TV saying George Bush and his cronies are child abusing money hungry liars. And the ambassador to Italy is a sick money stealing cult freak, they will let us shine the light on that one? I really cannot imagine that happening. I wish though it is time for people to know.

this is tommyfromhyde
    When I was at Hyde School PhilDo did a
show on Hyde (summer '76) which was sympathetic
to Hyde. He basically turned over his camera
and stage to Joe Gauld and Hyde. I think Joe
used the oppertunity to stage a Senior Seminar-
Hyde,s version of the Synanon Game- with only
loyal seniors of course. Think Princess Diana,s
 Potemkin village.
