Straight, LSD, and "Insanity"
« on: August 20, 2009, 08:03:42 PM »
Back in the early 80's In Straight Inc., the staff told us that anyone who has taken LSD more than a certain number of times (I think they said 7.?) is considered "legally insane" or some shit.... :rofl:

Even back then I remember thinking to myself what a bunch of crap that is; before I was abducted into Straight by my parents, I had taken acid plenty more times than that... So if that was what being crazy was, then I was senseless, out of it, gone-down-the-road, wacko....

Yeah right...  ::)

Yeah, that's another example of the complete jive that was touted as THE TRUTH by the incompetenent, unqualified LIARS that claimed to know not only about how to treat drug addiction, but also how the legal/medical professions operate.

I've dropped acid over 300 times (including some 1000+ microgram megadoses), have eaten more psilocybn mushrooms at one time than anyone I know of, have smoked DMT more than 10b times, done MDMA about fifty or sixty times, and used a variety of naturally occuring psychoactives.  I smoke marijuana daily.  I guarantee that I am more "sane" (in spite of having been in Straight) than any of the assholes on staff that said I was in the grips of "the insanity of my drug problem".

Fuck Straight Inc. and all other assholes that slander the use of psychedelics.

Well, I'm not really sure, but I think the way this myth must've begun, was in a court room somewhere, in which the defense lawyer pro'ly defended his client with an insanity defense based on the defendant's proven use of LSD.  If the judge accepted the argument that would set a legal precedent.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

I tend to agree that this is how the myth of "LSD makes ya crazy" got started.

Naw, I think it was more like GHW Bush's CIA covering their bare, tender asses after having driven some poor hapless folk out of their minds while experimenting with the shit for 1interigation/indoctrination purposes.

Here's the most ironic thing about this post: I was in Str8 '83 to '84 and I strongly suspect that we were slipped hallucinogens in our food @ the 'building' (along w/other types of drugs). Just another experiment conducted by the string-pullers @ Str8.

Really? I was there then, and can't say I noticed anything like that.

I was locked up during that time too and I can tell you the "food" served at the building wasn't laced with anything except terrible taste. In Atlanta they initially got the food donated from some local dive(almost inedible really bad stuff) then later a phasers mom came to the building everyday to fix lunch. I stayed at this womans house for awhile and can assure you she was not a secret gov't agent. As for the "Uncle Sid" I never did it until after I was out of Straight. Unfortunately, it tends to upset my stomach so I don't play there anymore. The 420 makes it all good though.  Shaggy

I;m just sayin'...yeah I hear ya 'bout the secret agent stuff..just seemed like a lot of people were 'playin' different roles there....trying to be intriguing or something...i could be wrong...just wish I had demanded a drug test be done on me immediately following release...
But here is another possible motive for slipping stuff in the food: drug co. clinical trials for psyche meds and things like that? (i personally had never taken them b-4 Str8, but was prescribed Ritalin or something post Str8 for ADHD or whatever that vague diagnosis was)

I won't post anymore on this issue 'cause, in the end, I guess you guys're right....doesn't really matter.
