Memories of 85-86 in Bergen County
« on: August 19, 2003, 07:30:00 PM »
Reading all these  posts have brought back a series of memories that I thought had drifted off forever:

Best host home:  Pete B*rke- his mom made so much food

Roughest host home: Tom S*pe's trailer- that shower was tough Tom

The time Joel got so fed up with El Passo Rich he picked him up, slammed him into a table breaking it in half

Thanksgiving- Tom B*da ate so much he puked

Walking around the Friday night parent session with our Easter Bonnets on singing that f-ing song

When Tim came back from copping out.

Watching Midnight Express on TV

Staying at Craig?s brownstone and seeing the TV for a second and then beating myself up over it.

Accidentally looking at the girls side and then wondering if I did it intentionally.

Not masturbating for over a year because I was to scared of getting caught

Seeing Cindy motivate and hit every girl around her

Dave Sm*th going over my MI with the efficiency of an editor

Alexis spitting on everyone while he yelled.

When we moved from the small rap room to the temporary rap room and then to the big rap room

Those horrible beets on your lunch tray

Squeezing every last bit of the ketchup and mustard packet

Tony M*tch*l's intensity

Watching Scott S*tt*r cry

Child safety locks

Listening to Marry R*b*n say "Love you Maaw" in her NY accent

Getting chicken pocks and having to stay in that little room

That day Kay came back from the beach and had a sunburn on half of her face

Watching Drew spin the rap chair unconsciously while he conducted a rap session

Telling my parents all my sex stories during the talk sessions- step mother about fell out of her chair

That final day when they moved me to the last row of chairs.  5 min later I was escorted out of the rap room and into a small room with Mrs Newton and my parents.  Walking out of Kids as free as a bird and shaking like a leaf.  Eating McDonalds on the way home.

----Please share your memories good and bad.  It helps me understand what we all went through.

I've just found this site... Name = Scott S... time served 84-87... Tom B, Pete B, Tom S's trailer all familiar... Very tough times BUT very funny now (in perspective)... I hope all of us are doing OK! I know for myself I have beat the Kids of Bergen County shit and have moved on... Unfortunately the stupid shit comes up everyday in my mind! It's just today I have found this awesome site where for lack of better words the alumni can BS about the experience... GOD BLESS LULU!!!!

Hi Scott S.  It's Kay.  Remember hanging out after Kids in Scotch Plains?  How are you?  You can e-mail me at kvitelli@nrcsd.org.  Those memories are funny...yeah, I'll probably get skin cancer from hanging out in the sun.  That place makes me laugh.  I had a dream about Alexis Z. just last night.  How funny.

Hey Scott, I don't know if you remember me but I was a sibling for many years and was good friends with your little sister. I ended up in group in '89-90.  I loved your family and wish you all well.  I was not in group with you but I know all of the people you mentioned and had to laugh too.  I am suprised that no one has mentioned some of the sh*t my brother pulled.  Such getting up in the middle of open meeting and running for the back doors, only to be jumped on by our father half way down the isle.(lol).

Joel?  What up?  Tried to say hey a while back and you seemed to kind of blow me off.  What up with that?  No need to fear me, I am 9 years clean.

This half of the toxic twins is clean...

Email me.  craigapalmer@cox.net
