Justice is right around the corner, the seed was and still is a horrible place, sometimes it does take years for something to finally break silence among people that were hurt in horrible ways that even a human soul could not understand. Time also heals, and I hope as myself, all start opening up to heal themselves as well, what happen to all in that place should be set free, so that maybe parents will stop putting their kids in such danger, a lot of lives have been harmed, and many no longer are with us because of places as this, so open up, set your souls free, give back to the staff and those fools what they so gave to you, no time is late for healing, and if you were young like me, you no longer have to hide, you will find by sharing that many feel like you, all the staff back then still know and act out daily as they did back then, help save another child like yourself , keep posting and contacting so that the criminals of the past are brought to justice, remember everything, write it down if need, just open up, and tell your story, even if you want to stay nameless. You could not help yourself back then when you were forced to sit for hours a day, but you sure could help someone else now, PEACE, and do not be afraid. All staff members and anyone assisting Art Barker, is guilty of many crimes, and crime is crime does not matter how long ago, and being old does not clear them of wrong doing, open up people, Peace always! :peace:

The Seed which closed in 2002 did me alot of good.  I have been alcohol & drug free for many years.  My family benifited from it.  My father also went to AA and has been doing great for years.  I really have nothing but good things to say about my experience there.  I learned alot of important lessons and am a much better person for going through the program so many years ago.  Sorry things went differently for you.  I am actually grateful for my whole experience. :peace:

When were you there and where?

Glad it helped you.

I was put there without having any addiction, just a "druggie attitute"

Not sure what that even means but assume it had to do with being part of a body count.

The more bodies, the more $$ lining A. Barkers pocket.

He was helping kids, hmmmph

Sad when children are used to buy condos.

It did so well that it is closed down, thinks guest is Libby, Gather all your staff members and lets see just how many it did so well for. Again that place was nothing more then a scam, for some drunk/druggie/junkie/comedian, and I wonder just how many of you all are hooked on some kind of medication now ( for anything) because you  are still a druggie, just in another form. Pretty funny if you really do look at yourself and who you have become in the last 30 years are so, me I do not even take aspirin, I do not allow doctors to give me harmful drugs either, I never did drugs back then, and still have not, so if you are staff members, or just assisting Art Barker in an way, you are a criminal, sounds like guest is a criminal . :twofinger:  :soapbox:  :fuckoff:  :jawdrop:  :beat:    :roflmao:  :rasta:  :smashcomp:  ::deadhorse::  :bs:  ::poke::  ::fullofshit::  ::unhappy::  :blabla:  :rasta:  :roflmao:

Not everyone who posts good things about the Seed was a staff member.  I had a few people from my family go to the Seed and were grateful that they had that chance.  I'm sorry too that you had a bad experience but not all of us did.  I know that I wouldn't have the life I have if I had not gone to the program so many years ago.  You can't put everyone in the same bag as you are because there are friends I still have today they feel as I do.

Guest, I ask again, when did you go to the seed and where?

We must have been in a different program

Please elaborate how it helped you (or us as you stated) , you post is very vague

Thanks

saying the seed helped you is like saying north korea torturing techniques -- helped american prisoners of war!!!

you are a fucking weak piece of dung. you fell into an experiment and came out covered in brainwash goo. and haven't washed it off yet.

you fucking turd, you don't even have the guts to say when you were there, and what your name is.

your father was an alcoholic -- you were a drug addict -- your friends LOVED it there.

jeez, somebody put a bullet in these stepford kids brains and blow out the back of their heads once and for all.

ouch, not my exact sentiment but I would like clarification on how it helped

my therapist says the place was a horrible abomination that should have never opened its door due to the fact that no one inside who was in charge was degreed, educated or qualified to administer any "treatment"

basically like going to a department store clerk and asking them to perform open heart surgery

I ask again, what year, what location and how long where you there?

my friend who has a phd in psychology, read the marc polonsky article and said - there is no doubt the seed was nothing more than a place that committed physical, psychological, mental, and emotional abuse.

and that anybody that thinks that program helped them, is still deeply disturbed by that mess, and really, really needs counseling.

i say those stepford cunts need a bullet to the brain.

I would like to reiterate that being at the seed was far more than a "bad experience" , as you stated.

To me, a bad experience is ordering a pinapple pizza and being disappointed about all the hype.

Criminal activities like rape, torture, sleep deprivation, theft and murder do not fit into a catagory of "bad experiences"

Those things are crimes against humanity and acts of violance.

Your take seems a little relaxed and disturbingly medicated.
