Spring Creek lodge / Whispering Pines Academy
« on: February 25, 2007, 02:46:21 AM »
Can anyone give me any info on this new program for teenage kids at risk,  Whispering Pines Academy? It is about 10 miles away from the Spring Creek Lodge in Montana. Are they affiliated? The Director at Whispering pines is Mike Linderman. Isn't he the psychologist that use to work at Spring Creek at  the same time the girl there commited suicide? They also have a guy named Glenn Schenavar listed as manager of operations I think he worked at Spring Creek Lodge, also I heard he had a program for kids at risk, Cougar Mountain Ranch that didn't get off the ground.  They are advertising that they have room for 48 kids!! There is a rumor that a Jim Dorrian a multi/millionair from California is the money opening the program but I wonder if it is a offshoot of Spring Creek. It sounds like there are several other Spring Creek employees also working there. Any info would be helpful!
 Thanks

I just did and google and yahoo search and couldn't find anything on Whispering Pines Academy. Is there a link.

You might want to read the book by Mia and Claire Fontaine, titled: Come Back. Mike Linderman is talked about in the book. Mia was a graduate from SCLA.

I couldn"t find anything on the internet. There was supposed to be a news article in the Sanders county Ledger, a local news paper that had the story of the opening of WHISPERING PINES. There is a rumor that Mike Linderman was Gifted the property? Was it gifted by Spring Creek???? Is this a way for Spring Creek to move kids around??? Who Gifted the money to build a place big enough for 48 kids???? There is also a rumor at the local school that Glen Schenavar ran a Wilderness program for Spring Creek and that there was a serious incedent in the wilderness with a female student at SPRING CREEK. It doesn't seem right that someone wanting to open up a NEW PROGRAM would Gift / hire these 2 people with a lawsuit pending. Something doesn't add up!![[/b]

You're right.  Something doesn't add up... but with WWASP what do you expect.  If i were to guess i'd say the cockroaches were in the process of setting up shop down the street so when the shit hits the fan they have a place to stuff the kids (sure a shit can't send em home without a good programmin!).  The money is probably funneled through some "private entity" with a close connection to the industry.  Once again it's time for the semi-annual name-change-a-thon.

You might also want to look into what a gifted property entitles one to (as opposed to purchased.  Might it affect Bankruptcy?  Could this be some sort of "backup program"?

These are just guesses, but I think they would have a good motivation for engineering such a "gift".  Follow the money...

You're talking about "Come Back"? I haven't read it yet, but, you know, I don't enjoy feeling nausea. And, yeah, I'm guessing that in a book like that, there'll be plenty of sugar-coating... wouldn't want the ugly truth to spoil the fairy tale. Which parts of the book are the exaggerated bullshit?

Whose names, Claire and Mia, or the SCL morons? no reason why not.

I have found no activity for this school in Trout Creek for some time and Linderman's myspace speaks of some kind of a reality show. What is this show about. As for a review of the book, which you also can find of the English version of Amazon click here.

Yeah Come Back, am really sick of the bs in it now but just finishing.  I cannot believe these two!  I personally think all of it is exaggerated and beyond sugar coated and the mother is a drama queen.
Gita and Mia Romano are the names.
