There is a slight misconception with regard to the cult thing.
An actual cult meets many of the signs Rick Ross relates - but also, to be an actual cult, they must also have a group of writtings or a book that supersedes the Bible in authority.
Many groups are cult LIKE - but not actual cults.
In the Christian faith, many cult like groups are what is called sectarian. A sectarian group has nothing that is more revered than the Bible, and they are Christian, but they think their own particular brand of Christianity the only one that is actually saved and going to see Heaven.
The sectarian faiths also tend to be extreamly legalistic - which is also cult Like. But it doesn?t make them a cult.
WWASP is unquestionably Cult Like.
They teach a new age form of humanism, and place themselves in unquestionable authority - thus the mantra - "Just Trust the Program" one hears over and over on the BBS and elsewhere in the program culture.
They fit much of the criteria, but lack the better than the Bible books a cult has to have.
I don't think you can count the sorce.
