The Minister of Propaganda
« on: February 28, 2009, 08:31:50 PM »
Whatever about Goebbles, the Nazi Minister of Propaganda. I found some crossmatching on Google to Goebbles and Gestalt but do they put people through the "therapy" then release media which affects those people - those people can relate to information presented in movies and other media so they act and think accordingly somehow? I think there have been movies about this "Clockwork Orange" comes to mind but for those of us who've seen the "treatment" and find interesting correlations in propaganda that is released, and are affected or "brought back to the treatment", is this some conspiracy here of one sort or another (of course they've coined the term "conspiracy theory" so noone pays any attention).

Most of the sites linking Psychiatry/Psychology to the NAZIs are Scientology fronts.  Just be sure to verify the authenticity of the information you're getting.  The "therapy" at CEDU or other Synanon based programs was a product of cultic trial and error experimentation, not some govt. conspiracy.  Cults have existed for a long time and the methods of brainwashing used in China hardly originated there (but they coined the term).

If you've ever worked with the govt, you'd agree that they're far too incompetent to get anything simple done, much less some grand conspiracy.  500 dollars a hammer is because the same people buying the hammers will retire and start selling them.  It's in their interest to keep the cycle going.  It's about greed 99.9% of the time. Lots of stuff is classified simply because it's unbelievably embarrassing (eg: the "gay bomb") and the public would be outraged if they knew their govt was wasting their money on "defense" which has basically become a welfare industry.  MK Ultra was a disastrous fuck-up.  It wasn't sucessful at all.  Instead of seeing what would happen to people on large doses of LSD they should have just taken a page from what cults were already doing.  It does seem as if the govt is getting a clue, though, since reports from Gitmo seem to indicate similarities between what they're doing to the prisoners there and more or less classic thought reform.

While I'm sure there is some govt. personnel benefiting or involved in some manner with what goes on in programs, it's hardly a conspiracy and more the classic case of special interest groups pushing for their shot at the government teet (eg: programs getting contracts from the state, etc...).

Thanks for the response. "Clockwork Orange" is an interesting theory, you take a significant number of people and put them through the "treatment" then introduce mass media that relates to the treatment that they hear in an environment that is unrelated to the treatment. One example I had was hearing Pink Floyd "Another Brick in the Wall" after CEDU. It seemed to come up in music more than anything else but obviously could just be pure coincidence.

Oh now that I would agree with you on.  There is an incredible amount of AA/program influence over music.  Lots of bands have treatment clauses in their contracts or 12 stepping managers (IMO, this is also what causes them to start sucking).  Personally, I prefer my musicians as strung out or messed up as necessary to produce good music.  I'm with Bill Hicks on this one:

I'm annoyed to no end with good musicians and groups that suddenly get AA and not only start sucking, but also have the annoying tendency to lace their songs with AA dogma (which is similar to program dogma.. and that's what I really hate about it).  Especially the language...

Well put psy; don't forget about $400 10/100mbps network cards.  While I was active in the Army a few years back the money spent on various items was outrageous.  It is also true IMO that the majority of government personnel are a bunch of incompetent baboons.

And when I worked for a govt contractor we sold the govt 256 mb compact flash cards for 1600 dollars a piece.  Retail price $25.  It's no secret project with aliens and lasers and mind control rays... it's plain old fashioned greed and corruption.  Just one more way to fuck the taxpayer.

Trust me... if you worked with these people you'd understand the level of sheer incompetence and stupidity caused by beltway bandit nepotism.  I'd hardly trust half of em to screw in a lightbulb, much less run some sort of conspiracy.  It's nothing but a "good ol' boy's" network.  Sort of like the mob, only run by the government.  The whole "top secret" mystique is bull.  Fuckers couldn't find Bin Ladin if he was dancing on the pentagon roof.  They just pretend to know what they're doing so the'll get more money thrown at them.

You would not *believe* the waste I saw.  It was disgusting.  When you're a tech and you see multi million dollars worth of equipment sitting there rotting in a warehouse because somebody ordered it but didn't pick it up...  it's sickening.

What did you do about it? Because you just admitted that you ripped off the government, isn't that illegal??! Why didn't you become a whistleblower and quit as soon as you noticed??? Hmmmm............. interesting. Didn't the government also pay for your voluntary adult program stay?  :roflmao:

They couldn't find Bin Laden - that's an interesting one to explore. Did they want to find Bin Laden? 911 worked to one hell of an advantage for an oppressive minded government entities, especially the opportunity to create Homeland Security, The Patriot Act and a bunch of excuses to oppress and OBSERVE the public in many ways. Also, recall that Christianity and Muslimism compose some 60% of the world's religious population being almost 30% each with Christians being a few percent higher. It's kind of like taking on half the world and if that other half wants to hide Bin Laden then it's not that easy to go find him.

Consider also the oil situation. Oil is a finite commodity, we are going to run out at some point. The link below is a Dept. of Energy report but I've heard drop dead day may be as soon as 2050. The excuse to move in on Iraq and gain leverage in the Middle East is compelling. What all runs on oil in this world? I can't think of much that doesn't. The Military can't either. I have a relative who is a retired exec from Shell and he tells me in spite of what you may hear about Alaska and other places the only really significant oil supply is in the Middle East. Alternative energy? Nice thought but noone is anywhere near close enough to support the kind of energy demands we have right now. There are also some pretty viable theories floating around too that Global Warming is really a consequence of all the oil we're pulling out of the ground (would make sense as the oil insulates the hot core of the Earth). These considerations could even move the drop dead date closer.

It was mostly tongue in cheek.

She used to make good music...  now it's this:
http://www.metrolyrics.com/not-as-we-ly ... sette.html

That's just one recent example.  I'd be glad to bring up more.  Usually it's the "reovery album" or those afterward that suck the worst, sell the worst, and go on and on and on like the above link.
