Straight Inc. and our society
« on: January 26, 2009, 04:43:23 PM »
Seems to me, that Straight Inc. was the manifestation of our society's true, or you could say core values, just in a stripped down form. The outside society had the same values as Straight.  Only on the outside the program was somehow different, less intense. I wanta say that the program was weaker on the outside, but that's not really true, because only a small percentage of the general population needs to be re-acculturated to the Straighth degree.   Or  maybe that it was subtler but that aint it either, maybe it was just less focused on individuals on the outside, unless you had been arrested, then I 'spose your gettin the heat, but still not nearly like it was in Straight. There was a wider, less focused net cast on the outside.  You had to first be caught in that net and deemed worthy of $tr8's legendary ferocity before they'd come after ya with the tighter smaller, stronger net.  Cause it's really just the secret, ugly place where they put all the bad kids now, who won't go to school, and who recognize things like the way they make you recite "the pledge of allegiance" before your old enough to understand what your doing, as disingenuous.  A sure sign that these people aren't to be trusted.  Not to mention the insult.

The first value that comes to mind is conformity.    Yeah. I mean it seems that conformity is the essential value in our society.  Most people conform early, cause they been reciting "the pledge of allegiance" and singin a bunch of patriotic songs in elementary school assembly, since before they knew what any of it meant, but the ones who don't, the ones who question and have the will to explore, end up in programs like Straight for "re-acculturation"

My point is that Straight was not some freak anomaly.  The program is on the outside too.

I s'pose it depends a lot on with whom you keep society. There are those among us who instinctively recognize that something's just not right about all this blind conformity and such. Just lately I been hangin' with these types http://www.playlist.com/searchbeta/trac ... %20Lottery

They sometimes refer to cigarettes as the "gateway drug", wasn't that cigarettes ??  I think so.

Public school is the gateway brainwash.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.
