Someone's Thoughts on Sue Scheff
« on: August 03, 2003, 07:07:00 PM »
Nancy:  There is much more to this matter with Sue than I think you may
realize.  It is not Sue versus another individual.  In the short time I
have known Sue, she has managed to whip through at least eight people,
infuriating some to the point they are willing to expose her and,
inadvertently but innocently, damage our greater need to protect the
children.

Sue's most recent entangle involves the press (not just one member of
the press, but now two).  If this were an isolated situation (as, at
first, I thought it was), then I would say, "okay, personality
conflict; it can happen to the best of us."  But this matter with Sue
is far more than a mere occasional personality clash.  Sue is a source
of information for those with whom she is willing to share (although I
find her annoying, at times).  The first part is good.  As to who Sue
is willing to share depends entirely on whether she views the person as
a threat to Sue's very deep emotional need to be "the Vortex."  This is
my personal opinion based on conversations I have had with Sue.

For example, I have been personally and repeatedly ?instructed? by Sue
not to talk with certain persons.  Naturally, after learning of no good
reason not to talk with many advocates, except that Sue is pissed at
them, my direct response to Sue has consistently been, ?I?ll talk with
whomever I damn well please?thank you anyway, dear.?

Overall, Sue is single-handedly capable of derailing our collective
efforts.  My prediction is that she may very well succeed if she is not
collectively hauled in, especially now that we are on the verge of
making headway.   These are my personal opinions based on my
experiences.  I feel that Sue is no more stable than several others she
has chosen to viciously, wrongfully, and outrageously attack.

from what has been posted, most are on our side. it is sad that we are now attacking our own!!! we ARE on the same side (taking down wwasp)!! please think before you attack someone public, on what you are doing!! there is no need to attack or defend. this will get us nowhere!!!

I agree, enough is enough. I think these kind of statements should be done through personal email. I understand that it is important for others to know the truth about those involved in this industry, but wait until you have the proper proof, rather than just an opinion. I am not siding with anyone, just saying this should be done privately because this is not good for our cause.

Nancy is my wife.  That email was in response to a personal email between two parties.  Paula & Nancy; in MY opinion it should have stayed that way.  But someone has chosen to post it & I for one NO it was NOT Nancy!!!

Apparently, the second party either bcc'd someone else or decide to send it to someone else to fuel the fire.  Now, either the originator of the email posted it or it was provided to post via anon.  This shit has gotten out of hand!!!

Why the personal vendetta's against each other?  This has turned into an attack on EVERYONE'S credibility!!!  Why the hate?  Direct this crap towards the Wwasps Corporation!!!

Enough said on my part.  Any anon. want to respond as to why they feel the need to just stir up unnecessary shit?

This is exactly why wwasps gets everything thrown out of court...no consistency in testimonies.

Regards,

Lee

WWASP gets everything thrown out of court and/or suppressed and/or confidentiality agreements written into their settlements because people believe that just a few more laws will solve the problem and anything that jeapordizes the lawsuit de-jour must be stopped at all costs.

Ya'll are going about it entirely the wrong way, in my opinion. Before you write me off as some crank with no schoolin', let me posit that I have been watching this drama unfold for the past 30 years; litterally all of my life that I can remember; and the game hasn't changed much at all.

Ya'll seem to be going at this like a PTA group treating with NEA/DOE. Ya'll are late comers responding to your own personal experience and that of the few people with whom you've come in contact and with whom you can directly relate. WWASP goes back to CEDU and, through CEDU, to Synanon. They are entrenched, connected and, believe me, they have beat every trick you've got up your sleeves.

So let me tell you about a new trick based on an old way of thinking. If someone's doing you wrong in some intolerable way, either you're the idiot and you just don't know it or they do everyone that way. If they do everyone that way, then you have lots of natural allies who you might not expect.

If WWASP is powerful in Utah then they're connected with the LDS. There's just no getting around that fact; the LDS rule the roost in Utah and anyone based in Utah and moving tens of millions of dollars every year does so at their pleasure.

The LDS hurts an awful lot of people. Read up on it, find out who they are and who and what they're grousing about and see if any familiar names come up. When WWASP delivers a letter of demand through their legal counsel, contact everyone you know about in who's faces WWASP affiliates routinely piss and ask them to contribute to the legal expense of making the best of the discovery process.

Antigen,

I agree!!!!

RAMPANT talking out in group
is the ticket!

And you know what, creditabily is in a name, not in ANON posting.

As much as Karen and I disagree on things, I respect the fact that she can post using her own identity.

Karen,

My sons and Martha's son never witnessed any beatings at Dundee.  Amberly never spoke of any beatings.  It sure seems funny to me that the beatings Nathan witnessed were only discovered after you came in contact with Sue.

I do not believe anything you say.  Yet, I know and believe Dundee was abusive.  Abuse does not have to be defined by beatings.

Just tell the truth about everything, don't add to it and don't take away from it and you will be alot more believable.

Karen Z.,

Are you saying you were never listed on the PURE website as one of their parent volunteers?

So Sue - what's the REAL story behind all this??  You can come out and play, really.  I would still like to see the "alleged" rest of the story from the wwasp vs. pure saga.
