The percentages wouldn't matter. Indeed many more are capable of being conditioned to believe that austere and abusive treatment is 'normal' and somehow useful to them.

So, what's stopping W from taking action against the 'liars'?

I would believe your child and others when they are face to face with those that graduated from the group they were in.  You know, the ones that sat side by side in school, worked together, played together, slept in the same dorm...  Did you ever have the courage to contact them and ask them their opinions of your child's allegations?

Did you ever have the courage to contact them and ask them their opinions of your child's allegations?


I have in fact done exactly that. It was all confirmed - and more besides.

So now you believe....Many of the young adults that have come forward with their stories are graduates, and yes, they have sat side by side with those that didn't complete the program and shared the same experiences.

Just because a child was held in a facility until they graduated does not mean that they don't claim mistreatment.  They were just not lucky enough to have their parents wake up and bring them home.

WWASP did take an accuser of abuse to a court of law.They lost this past August.A federal jury found the defendant to be  telling the truth about the many alleged abuses of WWASP.

WWASP can bring it on.It will be their undoing.

How about putting Narvin face to face with these students?  I know many that would love to be able to look him in the face and tell him he is the one that is lying.  Especially a certain boy that was in OP for months at a time.  Narvin stated "Our systems such as Observational Placement (not Observational Punishment) are designed for control, not punishment. Students are only required to be placed in there for one hour, if they remain in control of themselves".

If you look at the big picture, who has more to gain from lying?  The young adults that have no threat of going back to these facilities and are only trying to save others from their experiences, or the one that wants to reopen his school and make more money?

Still no one has come forward with any type of rationale for keeping a young girl on her face for 18 months.  How can anyone reasonably conclude that this is appropriate treatment for anyone let alone a child. What if this were done to an elderly person with Alzheimers or a mentally retarded person?  Many of these children suffer from mental illness. It just sickens me to know that this is still going on somewhere.  It is truly disturbing that WWASP programs continue to thrive.  I've come to the conclusion that the parents must have some mental disorder to allow their child to be treated worse than animals. This can not be justified and is entirely counter to established mental health guidelines.  

NARVIN - Please tell us Why children are kept in solitary confinement and on thier face for 18 months?  How can this be justified to professionals?  Do you have any data to support this treatment?  I'd really like to know......

That's not the way it went  - only PURE would distort the reasoning behind WWASPS losing a court case.  If the jury truly found the abuse cases fact, did these families win some sort of compensation?  The only thing it proved was that PURE could continue allegations without consequence.  Again, please provide some sort of proof other than hearsay.

The families were not looking for compensation.  They were simply telling their story in a court of law and the jury believed them.  Proof again that they had nothing to gain from lying and WWASPS has everythig to gain.

Amazing that there is someone (I hope not a parent with a child still in a facility) that is still saying that WWASPS has done no wrong.  Speak with 100 kids that say they were mistreated and believe only 10% if you want.  WASPS should still be held accountable for their actions.

How can you say that WWASPS is so innocent?  Have you seen the pictures of the children at High Impact?  They were tied down in dog cages.  Keep that image in your head as you are defending these people.

I was there in court in August.It is not hearsay.

Read the court documents if you to substantiate the facts.The incredulous of the jury wont be there or the tears of the boy who had been incarcerated in the Program for years.You wont see the smiling ,giggling faces of the plaintiff's attorneys or the administrators laughing faces.

The "end result" will speak for itself.

It's not about Pure it's about children having been tortured and abused. Its about Pure having been vindicated for telling the truth.

Pure should have been compensated for cost of defending themselves .The UTAH judge ruled otherwise.
