Wait. You're here for the weekend and you haven't asked us how NOT to go back there?

I find that grabbing a knife and screaming that you'll kill either yourself or your parents before you'll go back there is the best response, as an opener.

Do it. What's the worst thing they can do to you- send you away?

Had she asked, I might have suggested some options in that regard (informaiton to show to parents, etc), but at the same time, that carries risks if it fails (getting in trouble with the program, resulting in staying for more time).

I never got unsupervised visits away from my facility. Even when I did get away (twice), every minute was supervised. How are these kids doing this. I find it mind blowing. Also I had no unsupervised access to communication devices.

Oh for fuck's sake.

Look, I was going to continue my high-velocity countertroll with some extra advice on the fact that if this girl were real (You seriously can't tell she's not? Protip: word choice), her parents obviously fucking hate her and she has no one in this world that she can trust, and her only option is murder-suicide (always a fun one, that) but then you went ahead with THIS, believing she was real, and I can't not reply:

getting in trouble with the program

What? No, seriously, what the fuck is that dog shit? No, no, no- you tell me why that phrase is bullshit, Psy. Consider it a mental exercise. Either take the "they'll keep you for as long as they have their money" route, or expound upon the fact that what they're doing is only legal because no one cares to prosecute, and "getting in trouble" with them is a fucking sick joke at best. Extra points if you mention the fact that juvenile hall is actually better, so kids in this situation can do literally whatever they want to prevent themselves from going back.

What is the mental exercise here Milk? Extra points for you if you can figure out just how severe of a crime she'd have to commit to actually get sent to Juvie. Considering that more often than not kids who get busted for stupid shit on home pass tend to get sent back to their program by the officials. So if you are suggesting she get a shotgun and start popping off blasts in the middle of the street in the buff then you might be onto something. Not sure if that is going to help her in the long run though considering her juvie stay might last longer than her program stay.

i'm guessing the place i'm at isn't as restrictive as yours was. communication is supervised when we're there but when they send us home i'm pretty much free because my parents don't really give a fuck. not everyone gets to go home though.

Currently we only have records of two places in CT.

Grove School and Hyde School

We will see next summer whether there should be a school we have missed.

I couldn't imagine it being Hyde...

They are hyper alert and probably follow this forum more than I do.
