Castle's rant on CA prop 8. I now pronounce you nothing.

My mother, who is supposed to me more on the left-leaning moderate side, basically said to me "What do you need to get married for anyway?" and I said "What do you mean? Why shouldn't I be able to marry?" She said "Marriage is for procreation." and I said "Then why did you marry my stepfather? You were done having kids by that point." I can't remember what her answer was, but it was evasive, which is why I probably don't remember it. Essentially she didn't answer my question.

Those aren't her politics. She voted against it. She was just freaked that I spoke to her boss that way.

I only 'know' about you/your life from what i remember from reading here, so of course i really dont 'know' anything.

Meh, sorry. Touchy about the mom right now. Dad's being a prick. Again. And mom's been the only one to admit that it was fucked up what happened to me Y& apologize for it and has been the only one to stick by me.

I'm sorry too. My mom's also aware how abused i was, but is so limited she realy can only understand things to a certain extent, and has done so much damage i can never completely forgive her. She tries though and sticks by me, now. It'll never be ok, though :(
