The only thing which is absurd is you, for finding the topic of child abuse funny. I have links to other child abuse and sexual abuse forums which might interest you... you know since fornits is slow these days, I don't want you to get bored.

What do you think would happen if we invited folks from over there to come over here and troll TheWho? LOL

For the thousandth time, you evil shill, UNTIL a ritual or act has been PROVED effective as treatment in peer reviewed clinical trials, it is NOT medically accepted as effective. Othewise, raping Kirk Cameron would be a valid cancer cure as no one has DISPROVED specifically that raping Kirk Cameron cures cancer. Thusly, as of now, 2008, scientifically, medically speaking, NO PROGRAM IS EFFECTIVE.

You are letting your emotions cloud your thinking.
You are wrong, if the childs therapist feels a specific environment or TBS would be beneficial and has proven effective with others then it is acceptable.
If we based our decision on one child being raped or being successful we would be misleading ourselves and others.  I typically suggest that parents speak to other parents who have been thru it and gain consent from local services.

Anyone who would have a problem with survivors expressing their sorrow in hearing that Miller Newton survived his heart attack either knows nothing about the industry, or is a believer in it; it has to be one of the two.

How about a staff member who knows the true extent of what a kid did to his family and younger sister and suffering he caused, which lead to his RTC stay.  Can staff express elation or find personal enjoyment over the suffering of this kid or would that be considered inhumane by some people here?

Is this a double standard? Or just two different points of view?

...

The who is an annoying but incompetant shill as he inadvertantly betrays that he views that kids in programs as "bad" (they did a bad things to younger sis) and that kids in programs suffer in ways that would be considered "inhumane," suffering which inspires elation in staff (him) because the kids suffering is an act of justice .
Maybe it just revealed why he laughed at those kid's abuse and rape. It views their rape and abuse as suffering, thier dog's/sister's justice.

As the world's biggest (or smallest) shill, you are purposely spreading misinformation. NO, a medicine isn't effective or not effective because of what a parent "feels." It must be PROVED effective before it has any medical validity. NO PORGRAM is any more effective according to MEDICAL SCIENCE for anything except hurting people.

the end.
This describes the trials a ritual or medicine must undergo before it can be considered a scientifically valid therapy. NO PROGRAM HAS EVER BEEN PROVED ANYTHING BUT DAMAGING THROUGH THIS PROCESS.

How about a photoshop contest? Submit your best photoshop effort at satirizing, pillorying or praising your favorite Fornits personalities (or favorite ones to hate) for consideration. We'll do a poll for a buck a vote and the winning artist gets their art on the next Fornits Zazzle offering and half the poll tax.

How can you have a photoshop contest on a forum that doesn't allow image posting?

And we become the dragon that we set out to slay.
No, 'we' don't. We don't support programs that abuse kids, we just delete bullshit posts on a message board; big difference.

No, not really. Frod, ya know I love ya dearly and respect you profoundly. But I think you're missing the bigger picture. We're all in the program now. Very literally, we are and we'd best deal with it with the benefit of hind-sight.

The absolute most basic element of the Program is to control information. The whole idea of Fornits is to see what happens if you pull that linchpin. There is no practical way to blacklist certain individuals or groups of them except to do it in reverse and allow posting only from a whitelist. That would mean that a person would have to be fairly surely identified in order to be allowed to post. That would put an end to a lot of the most vital information that has come only from Fornits and had made it the "must read" source for industry information prior to the onslaught of cyberbullying and trolling by Sue Scheff, The Whooter et al.

There have been posts by kids sneaking into computer labs or current staff just prior to resignation that have made public incredibly useful information. People with good reason to be cautions with their identities have provided facts and leads that have hurt the industry in various ways. Is it really worth it to put an end to that kind of communication?

Even when programmies think they're helping their cause, they often shoot themselves in the foot. Remember that kid who's boyfriend got dissapeared into a WWASP program? His family had it out with her and us in a way that would NEVER have transpired with an ID check at the door. It made enough noise that people contacted the court, filled them in n relavent facts and the judge ordered the kid released.

I guess you could say it's kinda like what would happen if rodeo clowns inadvertently drew a crowd from a PETA convention.

Translation......

It takes a two pronged strategy to make this go poof as we've been doing for the past 3 decades or so. First, we give the target market a new set of buzz phrases; same basic slight of mind as how the vicious, evile sounding Sheiits became more the kinder, gentler sounding Shiia when the politicos decided to use them to fuck with other people instead of using them others to fuck with them. We have to use language and attitudes to shift the dialog from one of condemning the practice of brainwashing to one of regulating it.  At the same time, we must support all efforts to eviscerate said regulation of any meaningful provisions that might pose a real threat to the high holy art of brainwashing for power and profit.

It is absolutely necessary that we shift the dialog in this way away from any ideas of freedom of volition or personal autonomy. Look at how well it has worked to simply redefine terms like "personal responsibility" to mean "invoke force of law"! Remember, there is just no way to control people who are acting out of motives to preserved themselves, their families and their communities and countries of their own informed volition. Laws and regulations, though, shit! That just takes a little money and no conscience.
Go to football, throw a brick,
Get no mercy, months in nick
Riot in the ghetto, red alert,
Guilty free, innocent hurt

We've been warned of rivers of blood
See the trickle before the flood
Pretend nothing happened, make no fuss
One law for them, One for us

One law for them, One law for them,
One law for them, and another law for us

No fun, no homes, no job, no use
what else is used as an excuse
Families fighting, familes looting
next there's death, then there's shooting

One law for them, One law for them,
One law for them, and another law for us

Riots in London, blame Old Bill
We've been lucky no ones killed
Violence on the streets, more to follow
Freedom for those freedom fighters

One law for them, One law for them,
One law for them, and another law for us

Exactly, I believe it should be approved by the FDA.

I missed that study.  Was that a long tern clinical study done in this century?  [citation needed]
