Is it a Freudian slip that Who calls himself Aspen's Goebels?  Goebels convinced his wife Magda to murder their children prior to committing suicide with him.  Could it be that he identifies with a man whose life culminated in prodding a mother to take the lives of her own offspring?

No, he's just being honest (for once).  He likens himself to Goebbels 'cause he admires the guy.

Plus, he likes the idea of his "children" dying from actions committed by their parents or guardians.  He'd be happier if he or his cronies could kill them, instead of having to wait for them to kill themselves, but he's smart enough to know he can't have everything.

BTW, Who....just how big is Pete Townshend's dick?

As Psy mentioned I don’t have control over what is written there.  It use to say “quintessential yuppie sellout”.  It is my Scarlet Letter that I bare for not conforming to the "group think" here on fornits.

...and all this time people here thought it was only programs who tried to persuade people to modify their behavior. Who would have thought it happens here on fornits too!!  Ha,Ha,Ha It serves as a personal reminder to me that there will always be people who try to make it difficult for others to speak out about how they feel or air their personal views no matter how controversial and that we all need to just keep pushing foward.

I was involved in many protests when I was younger and there were always groups or individuals who didnt want our word to get out or tried to silence us, drive us away etc..... so this isnt new to me.

Disinfo rule #18.

Emotionalize, Antagonize, and Goad Opponents. If you can't do anything else, chide
and taunt your opponents
and draw them into emotional responses which will tend to
make them look foolish and overly motivated, and generally render their material
somewhat less coherent. Not only will you avoid discussing the issues in the first
instance, but even if their emotional response addresses the issue, you can further avoid
the issues by then focusing on how "sensitive they are to criticism".

Proper response to this disinfo tactic:

"You are avoiding the issue with disinformation tactics. You attempt to
draw me into emotional response without discussion of the issues. If you have something
useful to contribute which defeats my argument, let's here it -- preferably without snide
and unwarranted personal attacks, if you can manage to avoid sinking so low. Your
useless rhetoric serves no purpose here if that is all you can manage. Why do you refuse
to address the issues by use of such disinformation tactics"

Ah, the salient difference is that YOU are free to leave at any time.  The kids stuck in programs cannot.  They are forced to accept ideals that are not their own.

Fuck you and your 'ha ha ha's and this "we" shit.  You are not a part of "us".

Yeah, "we" (as in, programs survivors) are used to it by now, so you have little effect on "us".

I really dont think it is psy's intent to promote disinformation or supress the truth.  He may be taunting or chiding him but I think it is more for fun than anything else.

It's not Psy's intent to promote disinformation, silly.  That's Who's job.

Ah, yes.  That phase was used many times when blacks were harassed in the white diners down south.  “We allow blacks to eat here, yes sure we do, but if you don’t like the way you are treated here, there is a black diner up the street”

Hey, now you are doing it!!  I am not part of you!!  What is this “We” shit!! You are not part of “Us” and never will be.

Not even a good one, either.  Boring as all hell, just spouts program dogma, and defames, by associating his username with, a pretty damn good rock band.
