Violence and Antidepressants
« on: December 08, 2007, 10:07:59 PM »
From a link posted in the Robert Hawkins thread... Article has been expanded out below:

==================

UPDATE:  Okay... I trashed the article.  I pondered leaving it, as an example of "don't go here, bro," but I think we really don't need such an example taking up space here.

The essential take-home worth considering is:  perhaps anti-depressants may have had something to do with Robert Hawkins violent behavior.  (Perhaps also mismanagement of same may have had something to do with it too, but that wasn't mentioned in the article.).  Anyway, that's how they get you, eh?  A kernel of what superficially seems like possible common sense, and some padding with propaganda.  From their perspective, even a 5% nibbling of the whole cookie makes it all worth while to them.

So... blame it on ignorance and lack of sleep.  The piece certainly looked different the following morning.  Sorry, folks!  (Commence with throwing rotten tomatoes starting now.)

Ursus, that last article was created by CCHR, which is a motherfucking

SCIENTOLOGY FRONT GROUP.

Please check your sources before re-re-reposting things.

Is Mike Adams a Scientology front man too?  Seems to me he is mostly concerned about physical health issues... Correct me if I'm wrong.  Maybe I've been HOSED, haha!!!  Just wouldn't want to throw out the baby with the bath water, so to speak.  Although the article is a bit strident in some areas, the general gist makes some interesting points...

Even great clocks break down once in a while, and post articles they shouldn't.  -Ursus

Wicki article on CCRC:

Tres tres Scientology stinky winky.

Yah, Adams went a bit overboard with recommending certain literature to prove his point.  I think he has some good points. But every kid is different and I wouldn't necessarily state things as black and white as he does...

Oh, well.
