Fornits' Home for Wayward Web Forums is comprised of neary 60 forums at last count. Most are open, unmoderated forums where anyone can post without any editorial oversight or external control or moderation whatever. Most focus on the troubled parent industry, but a few are geared toward lifestyle or general interest type topics.
All of the responsibility for content, legal, karmic or otherwise, rests with the respective authors of the words posted herein. Use of this forum (either by posting messages or just by reading them) implies your acceptance of this policy.
It is your wisdom and your vision that will make this dialog meaningful. This means that, unlike the policies of organizations generally under discussion here, everyone and anyone, even people currently involved in what might be an abusive cult, are welcome to participate in these forums. We (the techs responsible for maintaining this site) are willing to wager that the tactics used by coercive cults will fall flat outside of a controled environment.
Though I can't (and wouldn't want to) control every word posted here, I and the moderators of individual forums reserve the right to delete posts and/or ban users at our sole discretion with wanton disregard for anyone else's opinion of the propriety of such decisions. "Reserve" is the operative term here. We actually try pretty hard to be decent about things, but sometimes ya' just gotta say "Enough is enough, you get no more of my time!"
If you have particular concerns about moderation policies, please contact the moderator of the forum in which you want to post before you start posting! If the moderator is "Nobody" (as is the case with most of them) then there really is no moderator. We will only take action with regard to activity that damages the server or makes it unusable.
As a user of this free forum, you are a guest just as long as you make yourself welcome. We do ask that you follow these few basic guidelines.

Bearing in mind that one man's poetry is another man's obscenity, and that censorship is among the worst forms of obscenity, we leave this to your best judgment. There is really no one 'in charge' of this discussion, and we will not intervene on anyone's behalf nor take responsibility for any reprecussions, legal or otherwise, that arise from anyone's words but our own. Any administrators, moderators or other people involved in the operation of this site are free to voice their own views in what ever ways may please them. It is no reflection on the rest of us or on the site itself, which remains a medium of communication, a dumb box of wires and bread boards incapable of crime or tort.
In other words, fornits nor it's advertisers, techs, moderators or forum addicts can be held responsible for the words of any individual.
