We're all there to train how to do it to others and how to defend against someone trying to do it to us.

Its a class... its a martial art and its a fighting style.

You're being an idiot. But, yes, I'd like to choke and throw you around.

You're emotionally defending programs and relying on argumentative ploys instead of facts to back up your assertions.

Who is the programmed one here? Why not prove what you say instead of give nonsensical generalities and say we're saying kids should be allowed to hurt people?

Hey , you keep asking others, why dont you show some proof?

I've reposted enough, and the burden of proof is on them to prove programs work anyway!

They've had 30 years... what gives? If they're so good, show something!

That also is irrelevant to the issue of ethics, morals, and their rights as children, or the nonsensical model of treating problems by ignoring them and forcing completion of a B.M. Curriculum supplemented with LGATs.

Quite frankly, programs are absurd, and the only thing CCMgirl can pull out of her ass is "they're not ALL bad!" (with no proof, or anything more than a false middle fallacy as a crutch) or "WELL YOU DON'T OFFER ALTERNATIVES WTF YOURE SAYING LET THEM HURT PEOPLE?

Honestly... most people with troubled kids do fine without programs. Statistics don't LIE. There are tons of alternatives, and I don't feel like copying and pasting everything deb has posted for years just for CCM.

Put up, or shut up, and see the sig.

You show us nothing,  if you think the schools are ineffective produce some evidence, some data that suggests 20,000 kids a year suffer in these places.  Don’t just give me a link to some kid who had a bad experience, I am looking for long term clinical studies that show these schools are ineffective.  If there were 20,000 kids a year suffering from these schools, one would think more than 1 or 2 would have raised their hand and said something or went to the police.  The majority of these kids move on to some of the top universities in the country..... you spin off and go nuts and start posting porn because a couple of people push your buttons and you dont have the education or grammar to defend your position thru dialog yet in the same breath boast of a 146 I.Q..  (what’s up with that, anyway?)

You have no evidence; you just beat up on people like CCM who tell a different truth than you want to believe.

This is nothing more than a dumping grounds for your anger and hatred, you have no ties to this industry what so ever, so pick a sight like KKK or NAACP to beat up on and leave survivors like CCM and my daughter off your list.

The burden of proof is on you.   You are claiming the "success" rate.  Prove it.  We HAVE posted studies that show that the humiliating, confrontational approaches to "therapy" that programs offer is not only ineffective, it actually harms kids.  YOU are claiming the "success" rate.  Cite your sources.  Cite your studies.  Please.  I'd love......for once......for you to back up something, ANYTHING you say.  Just this once, please........show me your "success" rates.

You have shown me no clinical studies, Anne.  You claim all programs are abusive.  I have posted studies and I have posted information that 99 -100 of all kids graduating from a TBS get accepted to their 1st or 2nd school of choice.  The overwhelming majority of kids are successful and you know this, but you are fighting for the 1 or 2 who dont do too well and that is a good cause and I am on your side with this also.

We need to continue to improve the acceptance criteria to insure the right kids get placed into the program which will better guarantee their success.

No, he's posted anecdotal stories and a paper written by a college student.   That's about it.

Feel free to correct me and post the longitudinal, clinical research that he's cited.

If you make a claim that something is successful, especially with the vehemence that you guys have....I'd think you might want to have something other than stories to back that up.

We're stating things that have happened to us.  You guys are claiming ourright "success" rates and "statistics"  Burden of proof is on you.

I think the majority will disagree.  If General motors is making 5 million cars a year and you decide they have a problem with their brakes just because you and a friend had problems, then the burden of proof is on you.  They are not going to fund a study to convince a handful of people.

One more thing...I'm a fucking idiot.

No, I claim that any program that holds a kid against their will and uses other forceful or coercive tactics abusive.

You do this quite a bit.  You might want to seek some sort of help for it.

Thats a completely moronic analogy...

GM doesn't lock kids up for years, isolated completely, forcing them to complete a stupid curriculum of brainwashing instead of treating a problem against their will, abusing them while doing so.

If something happens to someone isolated and with no rights (apparently) someone else has to speak up for them.

Any fucking idiot can see when brakes fail on a car. They run into things. People hidden away from the world can't wreck cars.

sorry Anne, I have provided clinical studies and information from people who attended college and the studies were backed by the university , yes.  I have provided information form a person who won the pulitzer prize....Hmmmm

You can rip those apart if you like.  But sooner or later you will need to prove there is a problem with the TBS industry.  So far you have a few people who didnt do well, some stories.  You bring nothing to the table, no clinical studies...the burden of proof is on you... the schools have already proven their effectiveness.
