dont remember the exact name, it was too long ago. it was one of those roadside cozy mom&pop little southern eateries where they only serve fried food. i remember passing an airport followed by a golf course on the left on the way there, and on the right on the way back, the resturant was about 10min down the road and a bit out of the way. i forgot to add that the two guys who stood up were probably not employees, as they were eating untill we walked in, and they didnt look like the resturant workin type, more the trailertrash type.
face it, you georgians live among some of the most vile and racist exuses of human beings in this country. you can imagine all you want that you live in a nice little tolerant society, but you live far from it. sure, there may be people who are normal and tolerant, and they probably make up a slight majority, but they are a silent majority which makes them just as bad; the racists run the show in georgia. if they didnt, someone like bob barr would never have been elected THREE TIMES. congressmen are elected by the people for the people, if a congressman is blatently racist, yet gets re-elected multiple times it shows alot about the population of his district. white power people would never have been able to hold a rally if there was a true tolerant majority, on the steps of the town hall to boot! in most northern states hate speech is considered illegal, as it provokes violence and falls into the category of "fighting words". try having the same thing on the steps of NYC or boston city hall.
and HLA is full, absolutely FULL of racists. of course, for tax reasons and whatnot they need to have a diverse staff, but it's purely for show. for example, if you're black and work there you need to act whiter than the white people. any "black" outburst, anything, you get in lots o trouble. "black" behavior is labeled as "gang-like" "druggie" and "imagy" and they discourage staff from acting it. the few black kids to go to HLA are often admonished for "acting black" and are taught to be more "white". and behind closed doors things can get fairly nasty. i've heard white restriction staff use the N word plenty of times against the students (rob hyde, klee, clay), but as soon as a black staff like jason h came around, they got all buddy buddy and acted like nothing happened, like they are not racists. there is a very good reason why very, very, very few blacks ever get sent away to HLA, and the ones who do get pulled almost immediatly. my entire 18 month stay there was only ONE black kid there. a few hispanics, a few islanders, but just one black; i remember at least half a dozen came around though. they all flipped their shit, ran away, and were never heard from again.
