The "accreditation" is from a group called the AASCF:

They are a membership organization that "accredits" institutions that fill out an application proving that they do interact with children in some way or another, for a fee of $150 - $4 300 per year.
But, interesting enough, according to their site's Sustaining Membership page, AARC is not even accredited by them for the year 2006-2007:
