As the Wizard was employed at Kids during the period in which Lulu Corter was held there, it begs a question.  What did the Wizard do when he saw abuses like that suffered by Lulu and others?  Why he jumped up to head Kids of the Canadian West.  Sandi Levy Barbero, a real social worker who visited Kids, took another approach.  She wrote a report and forwarded it to authorities in a number of jurisdictions in which Kids operated, in an effort to halt the abuse.  Two very different approaches.  But then M. Levy-Barbero did not have the years of research behind her that the Wizard built up while coaching dodgeball.

Holy shit!  Vause was there when Lulu was?    :o

That explains a lot.  If he's A-OK with what Newton did to her, why wouldn't he use those same tactics at AARC?

These people are some twisted fucks. :flame:

The other day I watched "Over the GW" and as expected it affected me greatly having been in KIDS, one of the things that hit me was yes Dean Vause was there, yes he saw the abuse and he walked away from Lulu and us, he did nothing so all his promises to us that AARC would not be the same were just shallow lies. I at the time was in a victim state of mind when I left and I still had enough sense to be able to tell the police who were being held there against their will and what was happening. He who says he wants to help people did nothing, he let it go on. I now know I am a survivor, it took many years of healing and now I see it is happening right here in Calgary, all over again. People are so oblivious to what is happening and I think it is time to open their eyes.

It is and hopefully these postings will help.

I watched it the other night too.  I had nightmares for the first time in years.
